Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleHIGH SPEED PROBABILISTIC ADDER FOR SIGNAL PROCESSING SUBSYSTEMSC. G. Ravichandran, S. VenkateshbabuThis study proposes a new high performance and low power adder using new design style called probabilistic is proposed. The design of a probabilistic adder that achieves low power and high speed operation. The delay and power dissipation are reduced by dividing the adder into two parts to reduce the carry chain. This dividing approach reduces active power by minimizing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 30 Dec 2013 · 6,481 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDynamically Reconfigurable Embedded Architecture-An Alternative To Application-Specific Digital Signal Processing ArchitecturesN. Ramadass, S. Natarajan, J. Raja Paul PerinbamEmerging trends in design of real-time digital signal processing systems indicate that in the future, a significant amount of performance improvement can be achieved using dynamically reconfigurable embedded architectures consisting of reconfigurable, general-purpose components. Although embedded real-time systems have long been prevailing in our society, no firm scientific base has been established yet to handle timing requirements in a systematic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2007 · 6,727 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleReview of Signal Processing Techniques for Detection of Power Quality EventsAbhijith Augustine, Ruban Deva Prakash, Rajy Xavier, Mareeta Cheriyan ParasseryThe challenging process industry requires true power for its smooth functioning and here comes the importance of good power or power. The term Power Quality (PQ) aims at supplying true power to the process. The scope of the power quality increased with the introduction of newly designed sophisticated devices like computers and microcontrollers. Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePerformance Comparison of Sub Phonetic Model with Input Signal ProcessingDr E. Ramaraj, E. ChandraThe quest to arrive at a better model for signal transformation for speech has resulted in striving to develop better signal representations and algorithm. The article explores the word model which is a concatenation of state dependent senones as an alternate for phoneme. The Research Work has an objective of involving the senone with the Input signal processing an algorithm … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2006 · 6,291 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleVLSI Implementation of Novel Class of High Speed Pipelined Digital Signal Processing Filter for Wireless ReceiversRozita Teymourzadeh, Yazan Samir Algnabi, Masuri Othman et al.Problem statement: The need for high performance transceiver with high Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) has driven the communication system to utilize latest technique identified as over sampling systems. It was the most economical modulator and decimation in communication system. It has been proven to increase the SNR and is used in many high performance systems such as in the … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 4 · 5 Nov 2010 · 7,815 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleIndoor Characterisation using High-Resolution Signal Processing Based on Five-Port Techniques for Signal Input Multiple Output SystemsSmari Mouheddin, Bel hadj Taher JamelProblem statement: The development of wideband mobile communication systems requires a deep knowledge of the characteristics of the indoor mobile radio channel. The characterization of the indoor multi-path propagation structure is important in developing antifading techniques for high-speed digital radio access. The high-resolution of the estimation of the Time of Arrival (ToA) and the Direction of Arrival (DoA) of multi-path … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2009 · 7,684 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleINDEPENDENT COMPONENT ANALYSIS AND DISCRETE WAVELET TRANSFORM FOR ARTIFACT REMOVAL IN BIOMEDICAL SIGNAL PROCESSINGSalvatore Calcagno, Fabio La Foresta, Mario VersaciRecent works have shown that artifact removal in biomedical signals can be performed by using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) or Independent Component Analysis (ICA). It results often very difficult to remove some artifacts because they could be superimposed on the recordings and they could corrupt the signals in the frequency domain. The two conditions could compromise the performance of both … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 27 Nov 2013 · 7,848 accessesView PDFCite
