Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleBlockchain Integrated Distributed Threshold Elliptic Curve Cryptography Framework for Scalable and Secure Cloud Data StorageNaga Swetha Dhulipudi, Balaji SavadamThe development of cloud computing offers scalable processing capabilities, thereby enabling organizations to store and process sensitive data in the cloud. However, it faces crucial security challenges, as existing cryptographic and blockchain systems suffer from poor scalability and centralized key management, which creates a single point of failure and introduces vulnerabilities to both quantum and classical attacks. This research proposes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 11 · 19 Oct 2026 · 395 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fast Access Big Data Approach for Configurable and Scalable Object Storage Enabling Mixed Fault-ToleranceCarlos Roberto Valêncio, André Francisco Morielo Caetano, Angelo Cesar Colombini et al.The progressive growth in the volume of digital data has become a technological challenge of great interest in the field of computer science. That comes because, with the spread of personal computers and networks worldwide, content generation is taking larger proportions and very different formats from what had been usual until then. To analyze and extract relevant knowledge from these … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 6 · 1 Jul 2017 · 7,888 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the keywordsEffects of Design Factors of HDFS on I/O PerformanceHan-Gyoo KimFour major design factors of HDFS, the block size, the number of data nodes, the number of client processes and replication factor are investigated to find out the effects on the I/O performance of HDFS by performing experiments in a real physical HDFS infrastructure consisting of 64 Hadoop data nodes of Intel i9 based blades. The block size is observed … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 13 Mar 2018 · 7,987 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBlockchain-Enabled Privacy-Preserving Access Control for Electronic Health Records Using Smart ContractsG. Bhanu Prasad, M. Venkateswara RaoElectronic medical records are crucial for providing high-quality healthcare, but they also raise serious privacy and security issues. Traditional centralised storage systems are vulnerable to manipulation, hacking, and illegal access. This study suggests a smart contract-based blockchain architecture that provides decentralised, unaltered, and privacy-preserving access control for EMRs. The model integrates cryptographic techniques like AES-256 encryption and SHA-256 hashing for … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 6 · 22 Jun 2026 · 1,306 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the abstractFish Pond Storage Preserves Chili Puree, but Nitrogen Flow-Through Fails: Unravelling the MechanismDaimon Syukri, Rina Yenrina, Rini et al.Perishable food preservation in rural and resource-limited settings remains a significant challenge, as conventional techniques frequently depend on synthetic additives or energy-intensive processes incompatible with green chemistry principles. This study evaluated fish pond immersion as a novel, low-cost preservation method for freshly ground chili purée, investigating its efficacy with and without continuous nitrogen gas flow. Chili purée samples were packaged … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 26, Issue 1 · 30 Mar 2026 · 1,344 accessesView PDFCite
