Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesTPAL: A Protocol for Node Authentication in IoTMohamad Faiz Razali, Mohd Ezanee Rusli, Norziana Jamil, Salman YussofSecure communication in Low power and Lossy Network (LLN) requires the authentication of the identities of nodes for that node to join the network. Since LLN may consist of many different nodes, where some nodes may contain sensitive and subtle information such as military data, monitoring data, or health data, that node needs to be authenticated before it can deliver … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 10 · 30 Oct 2018 · 7,031 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesA Comparative Analysis of Task Scheduling Algorithms of Virtual Machines in Cloud EnvironmentSaleh Atiewi, Salman Yussof, Mohd EzaneeCloud computing is an interesting and beneficial area in modern distributed computing. It enables millions of users to use the offered services through their own devices or terminals. Cloud computing offers an environment with low cost, ease of use and low power consumption by utilizing server virtualization in its offered services (e.g., Infrastructure as a Service). Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesAn Investigation of Using Parallel Genetic Algorithm for Solving the Shortest Path Routing ProblemSalman Yussof, Rina Azlin Razali, Ong Hang SeeProblem statement: Shortest path routing is the type of routing widely used in computer network nowadays. Even though shortest path routing algorithms are well established, other alternative methods may have their own advantages. One such alternative is to use a GA-based routing algorithm. According to previous researches, GA-based routing algorithm has been found to be more scalable and insensitive to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 2 · 25 Feb 2011 · 7,621 accessesView PDF Cite
