Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAutomatic Boundary Detection of Wall Motion in Two-dimensional Echocardiography ImagesFaten Abed Ali Dawood, Rahmita Wirza Rahmat, Mohd Zamrin Dimon et al.Problem statement: Medical image analysis is a particularly difficult problem because the inherent characteristics of these images, including low contrast, speckle noise, signal dropouts and complex anatomical structures. An accurate analysis of wall motion in Two-dimensional echocardiography images is “important clinical diagnosis parameter for many cardiovascular diseases”. A challenge most researchers faced is how to speed up the clinical decisions … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 8 · 15 Jul 2011 · 8,188 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordIndustrial Robot Fault Detection Based on Statistical Control ChartAlaa Abdulhady Jaber, Robert BickerIndustrial robots have long been used in production systems in order to improve productivity, quality and safety in automated manufacturing processes. There are significant implications for operator safety in the event of a robot malfunction or failure and an unforeseen robot stoppage due to different reasons has the potential to cause an interruption in the entire production line, resulting in … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 29 Feb 2016 · 8,573 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEffects of Higher Order Dispersion Terms in the Nonlinear Schrodinger EquationRobert Beech, Frederick OsmanThis study presents a concise graphical analysis of solitonic solutions to a nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLSE). A sequence of code using the standard NDSolve function has been developed in Mathematica to investigate the acceptable accuracy of the NLSE in relatively small ranges of the dispersive parameter space. An operator splitting approach was used in the numerical solutions to expand the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2005 · 6,491 accessesView PDF Cite
