Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPerformance Analysis of Global Search Algorithm Based Multiuser Detector for Multi Carrier Code Division Multiple Access System under Clipping NoiseS. Sivanesskumar, R. SukaneshProblem statement: Multi Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA), a promising technology for the 4G communication systems. The major limitation of MC-CDMA system is the Multiple Access Interference (MAI) which is due to near-far effect, frequency offset and nonlinear power amplification due to clipping noise. Approach: The performance of MC-CDMA under clipping noise using Global search algorithm based Multiuser detector … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 5 · 7 May 2011 · 6,687 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Evolution Framework for Evaluating Intelligent Spectrum Sensing Mechanisms in Cognitive RadioArchana Krishnamuthy, Sudhindra Kumbhashi RajgopalCognitive radio technology has advanced to address the challenge of limited spectrum availability by employing spectrum sensing techniques. This process is framed as a detection problem involving two core hypotheses: Hypo-0 and Hypo-1. Hypo-0 represents the scenario where only noise is present, and its modeling depends on parameters such as the number of observed samples, the timing of signal acquisition, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 8 · 4 Sep 2025 · 5,807 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMultiple-Input Multiple-Output Transmission Over a Multipath Faded ChannelsI.A.Z. QatawnehThe use of multiple antennas at the transmitter as well as at the receiver can greatly improve the capacity of a wireless link when operating in a rich scattering environment. In such an arrangement all transmitting antennas radiate in the same frequency band so the overall spectral efficiency becomes very high. Such a multiple antenna scheme, popularly known as Multiple … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 11 Mar 2013 · 6,417 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComparison of Bit Error Rate Performance of Multi Tone Channel Utilising De-OQPSK and De-Off Set 16 QAM with Guard IntervalIbrahim A.Z. QatawnehDigital communications systems use Multi tone Channel (MC) transmission techniques with differentially encoded and differentially coherent demodulation. Today there are two principle MC application, one is for the high speed digital subscriber loop and the other is for the broadcasting of digital audio and video signals. In this study the comparison of multi carriers with OQPSK and Offset 16 QAM … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2005 · 6,847 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPerformance Analysis of Discrete Wavelet Transform Based Multiple Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System for Different Wavelets in Different Channel EnvironmentHariprasadNagarajan, AlameluNachiappanMultiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are the two assuring technologies that offers high data rate as required for the 4G wireless systems. Conventionally OFDM is Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based system. It uses IFFT (Inverse FFT) blocks in the transmitter and FFT blocks in the receiver. OFDM combined with MIMO gives increased throughput and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 18 Oct 2013 · 6,616 accessesView PDF Cite
