Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsImproving Routing Discovery Based Velocity-Aware Probabilistic Using AODV with Link Prediction in Mobile Ad-hoc NetworksZaid BassfarThe current process associated with enhancing the QoS in routing for MANETs has reserved a high importance due to the limitation of available route discovery in dynamic topology. The conventional methods of route discovery schemes in MANETs are commonly designed in order to estimate the number of nodes in routes using the standard probabilistic models. Such models are utilized by … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 1 Aug 2017 · 7,655 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsUtilization of AODV in Wireless Ad Hoc NetworksZeyad M. Alfawaer, GuiWei Hua, Nidal A. HamdehAODV is a mature and widely accepted routing protocol for Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET), it has low processing and memory overhead and low network utilization, and works well even in high mobility situation. We modified AODV to use these dominating sets, resulting in the AODV-DS protocol. Our contribution in addressing the fragility of a minimum connected dominating set in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2007 · 7,160 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImpulse Radio Ultra Wide Band Based Mobile Adhoc Network Routing Performance AnalysisM. Sreedhar, C. VenkateshThis study presents with the routing overhead analysis of impulse radio - Ultra Wide Band based wireless networks which Employs Dynamic Nature Routing (EDNR) method for determining and selecting the stable route in Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET). This method requires only two sample packets and uses piggyback information on Route-Request (RREQ) and Route-Reply (RREP) packets during a route-discovery procedure. Conventional … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 15 Apr 2013 · 5,887 accessesView PDF Cite
