Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsKalman Filtering for Stocks Price Prediction and ControlJimbo Henri Claver, Mbiazi Dave, Shu Felix CheStocks price analysis has been a critical area of research as the stock market is a very fluctuating market. Stocks price is affected by demand and supply dynamics making it difficult to forecast the price of a stock at a particular instant. The entire idea of predicting stocks price is to gain significant profits but predicting how the stock market … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 6 · 20 May 2023 · 6,374 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Comparative Analysis of IoT Security Frameworks With BIoTCGaurav Vats, Sarvesh Tanwar, Pankaj Kumar SharmaThe Internet of Things (IoT) has reshaped the modern intelligent environments, but it remains vulnerable to sophisticated attacks such as Man-in-the-Middle (MITM), RFID cloning, unauthorized access, and social engineering. Block Internet of Things Chain (BIoTC) introduces a simulation-based approach to address these security issues. While various frameworks have been proposed to secure IoT systems, most of them fall short in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 3 · 28 Mar 2026 · 1,484 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMulti-Agent Energy Allocation Optimization in Local Energy Communities: A Comparative StudyAmira Dhorbani, Dhaker Abbes, Benoît Robyns, Kahina Hassam OuariThe growing diversity of energy demands, combined with the integration of renewable and distributed energy systems, calls for more adaptive energy management strategies. This study presents a comparative simulation-based analysis of three energy management approaches applied to a local energy community: A Multi-Agent System (MAS), a centralized rule-based method, and a game-theory-based optimization using the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 30 Dec 2025 · 3,389 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Intrusion Detection System Using Optimized Deep Learning for IoT NetworksChempavathy B., Mouleeswaran S. K.In the rapidly evolving landscape of Internet of Things (IoT) networks, assuring security is paramount. Cyber-attacks on IoT networks are evolving in complexity and scale. Intruders employ diverse tactics, including malware, Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, along with unauthorized access. This research aims to propose an optimized Deep Learning (DL) based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to bolster security within IoT … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 8 · 9 Oct 2025 · 3,001 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybrid Attention-Based Stacked Bi-LSTM Model for Automated MultiImage CaptioningPaspula Ravinder, Saravanan SrinivasanIn recent days, the process of medical image captioning is become a prominent field. The distinct characteristics of medical imaging data provide a number of challenges when captioning medical images. Also, the variability in image modalities makes it difficult to generate an effective captioning process. Thus, the proposed study aims to design a novel Multi-image Captioning Hybrid Attention Model to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 4 · 8 Mar 2025 · 5,171 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReinforcement Learning in Financial Services: Modelling Payment Switching as a Multi-Armed Bandit ProblemIshaya Gambo, Christopher Agbonkhese, Segun Aina et al.The ever-evolving landscape of digital payments demands continuous innovation and self-improvement. This study addresses this imperative by simulating a model for payment routing, a crucial aspect of the digital payment ecosystem. To achieve this, industry professionals were interviewed to inform the approach, emphasizing data randomization for effective data collection. Using Python, a randomized dataset is created and three Reinforcement Learning … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 11 · 12 Oct 2024 · 4,717 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDDoS Attack Detection Using Enhanced Neural Network Algorithm in Software-Defined NetworksHema Surendrakumar Dhadhal, Paresh P KotakWith the uncommon advancement of technology and networking, the world today is totally relying on it. The most obvious drawback of this technical progress resulted in several possible dangers. A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack is one in which a large number of compromised systems work together to prevent service from being provided to the targeted system. Consequently, to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 6 · 24 May 2023 · 5,727 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractGraph Coloring Program of Exam Scheduling Modeling Based on Bitwise Coloring Algorithm Using PythonSamsul Arifin, Indra Bayu Muktyas, Wikky Fawwaz Al Maki, Mohd Khairul Bazli Mohd AzizA graph coloring is the process of assigning labels to the vertices of a graph in such a way that no two adjacent vertices have the same color. The chromatic number of a graph G is the smallest number of colors that can be assigned to it. Graph coloring has a wide range of applications and is commonly used to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 1 · 1 Feb 2022 · 9,706 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractUtilizing of Big Data and Predictive Analytics Capability in Crisis ManagementMohammad Atwah AL-Ma’aitahThis study investigates the impact of Big Data and Predictive Analytics (BDPA) capability on crisis management in the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Jordan. Effective utilization of BDPA is considered in the study to depend upon the five dimensions: Tangible resources, technical skills, management skills, organizational learning and data driven culture.
