Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAn Effective Contention Aware Stable Path Finding Approach to Provide Quality of Service in Mobile Ad hoc NetworksD. S. Thenmozhi, M. RajaramProblem statement: The application of Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) has been increasing every day. Most applications that attract interest for use in current wired networks (e.g. video conferencing, on line movies and camera enabled instant messenger) would attract interest for MANETs also. Many applications that use MANETs include multimedia data that require Quality of Service (QoS) support for effective … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 6,740 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRandom Sum of Mixtures of Sum of Bivariate Exponential DistributionsAbd El-Moneim A.M. Teamah, Ahmed M.T. Abd El-BarProblem statement: The distributions of R = X+Y and W = X/(X+Y), where X and Y follow Lawrance and Lewis`s bivariate exponential distribution, is generalized. Approach: In this research we found mixtures of sum of bivariate exponential random variables. Results: Also we calculated the probability density function (pdf) of the random sum of mixtures of sum of bivariate exponential random … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 7,316 accessesView PDF Cite
