Finding a fast, highly accurate solution to classify emotion has been a challenge for scientists. In this research, we have proposed a new model for Big Data sentiment classification in the parallel network environment - a Cloudera system with Hadoop Map (M) and … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 22 Dec 2017 · 7,594 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Security Model using Multilayer Approach for E-Health ServicesRossilawati Sulaiman, Dharmendra Sharma, Wanli Ma, Dat TranProblem statement: Delivering services online is important in e-health. Services that are delivered through online communications between engaging parties, often involve sensitive information transmitted over the Internet. However, while the Internet successfully facilitates these services, significant threats also come in parallel. Network attacks, information breaches and malicious software on a computer system are common threats to the Internet. These threats … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 11 · 29 Aug 2011 · 6,822 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMeasuring the Resiliency of the Manhattan Points of Entry in the Face of Severe DisruptionMayada Omer, Ali Mostashari, Roshanak NilchianiProblem statement: Resilient infrastructure systems are able to continue to provide the expected service levels following disruptive events. Implementing resiliency in infrastructure systems requires knowledge of the current resiliency of the system and a methodology by which different resiliency strategies can be evaluated. In the transportation infrastructure in particular, disruptions cause delays, which will in turn incur substantial economic losses … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 15 Mar 2011 · 9,671 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Improved Lazy Release Consistency ModelChapram Sudhakar, T. RameshProblem statement: A network of workstations, viewed as a distributed shared memory system can be used to develop and test parallel algorithms. Approach: For implementing parallel algorithms on such DSMs shared memory consistency model plays a vital role. Results: However on a LAN, strict consistency models like Sequential Consistency model (SC) are not useful since the communication is slow.
