Its functions include data storage, processing, and resource management through powerful hardware and effective safeguards. This study uses cloud computing to improve network performance management at Mahasarakham University (MSU), Thailand. The study emphasizes the use of cloud-based tools to improve intelligent network … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 9 · 27 Oct 2025 · 2,911 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePolicy-Based Network Management in BIUST NetworkThato Solomon, Adamu Murtala Zungeru, Rajalakshmi Selvaraj et al.Policy-Based Network Management (PBNM) is one of the approaches used by network administration groups for Quality of Service (QoS) and administration on the internet. This paper seeks to propose the adoption of a Policy Creation Model for Policymaking in some organizations. The model will then be applied to a real scenario Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) network. … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 21 Jun 2017 · 7,595 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA Network Management Framework Using Mobile AgentsJonathan Lefebvre, Steven Chamberland, Samuel PierreNetwork management of heterogeneous networks is still hard to achieve automatically and efficiently. In this study, we present a framework that has the ability to perform network management tasks on heterogeneous networks using mobile agents. This framework handles the inability of many network devices to run mobile agents. While the main focus of the project is the framework, we present … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2006 · 7,026 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleEnhancing Telecommunication Network Management with Autonomous Optimization Agents and Machine LearningDanny Adil Sibarani, Evaristus Didik MadyatmadjaThis study explores the integration of Machine Learning (ML) and Autonomous Optimization Agents (AOAs) in the management and optimization of Radio Access Networks (RAN). The research addresses the growing challenges posed by the need for skilled network experts capable of managing and analyzing large-scale network data, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and thousands of network configuration parameters. To overcome these … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 4 Mar 2025 · 7,041 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA Comparative Analysis of Network Management Protocols in IoT ApplicationsLevi Costa Mota, Edward David Moreno, Admilson Lima Ribeiro, Ricardo J.P.B. SalgueiroThe complexity and growth of new smart objects networks are generating a new demand for the maintenance of these devices, with the need to remotely monitor and control these devices without consuming significant resources. Analyzing the memory and electric power consumption of the protocols used in the management of these networks is a way to highlight the best protocol alternatives … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 9 · 27 Sep 2018 · 7,821 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAN EFFICIENT AUTONOMOUS KEY MANAGEMENT WITH REDUCED COMMUNICATION/COMPUTATION COSTS IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKM. Devi, S. Chenthur PandianA primary concern in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) is security. Secret sharing is an effective way to distribute a secret among n parties, where each party holds one piece of the secret. A number of key management schemes have been proposed for MANETs. However the secret sharing to control key hierarchy needs larger message transmission costs in many techniques. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,778 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Blockchain-Enabled Scalable Network Log Management SystemMohammad Habibullah Rakib, Showkot Hossain, Mosarrat Jahan, Upama KabirLog data is an essential tool to identify the footprint of unauthorized activities executed in a network system. Hence, a compact storage mechanism is required for the massive volume of log data to protect them from malicious tampering attacks. In this regard, Blockchain (BC) has been used to design tamper-proof storage of log records. However, the existing BC-based solutions cannot … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 6 · 15 Jun 2022 · 7,177 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAn Enhanced and Cost Effective Group Key Management Scheme for Multicast NetworkSaravana Kumar Muthusamy, Purusothaman Thiyagarajan, Lavanya SelvarajKey management plays a vital role in the data communications. The proposed scheme is a key management scheme that provides more efficient and secure methods for key generation and utilization. Enhanced and cost effective key management scheme achieves a secure communication between the members within the group-based network. Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRouting Based Data Security in Mobile Ad Hoc Network Using Group Key ManagementE. Mohanraj, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: A mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is a self-organizing system of mobile devices followed an infrastructure less framework associated by wireless links. In MANET, there is a possibility of packet data to get lost or hacked by an attacker. So, to improve a secure communication over MANET from attackers, several techniques have been developed. The previous work developed to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 10 · 29 Aug 2012 · 6,697 accessesView PDFCite
