Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleFolk Music Recommendation Using NSGA-II Optimization AlgorithmJoyanta Sarkar, Anil Rai, Kayala Kiran Kumar et al.Music recommendation systems can significantly improve the listening and search experiences of a music library or music application. There is simply too much music on the market for a user to navigate tens of millions of songs effectively. Because of the high demand for excellent music recommendations, the field of Music Recommendation Systems (MRS) is rapidly expanding. The main motivation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 12 · 8 Nov 2023 · 5,634 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFatigue Life Prediction of Screw Blade in Screw Sand Washing Machine under Random Load with Gauss DistributionJie Gong, Yun-Fei Fu, Wen Xia et al.The purpose of this study is to present a new method for estimating the fatigue life of the screw blade in the screw sand washing machine. To ensure the accuracy of numerical simulation, the loading area and the value of load are determined by means of the theoretical analysis. To ascertain the location of the stress peak and stress range, … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 4 · 22 Dec 2016 · 8,005 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsNon-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms for Heterogeneous Embedded System DesignA. K. Rath, S. N. DehuriThe design of complex embedded systems involves the simultaneous optimization of several conflicting and competing objectives. Instead of a single global optimal solution, there exist a set of Pareto optimal solutions. In this study we have used a multi-objective evolutionary optimization algorithms called non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA), which will suit to the requirements of designing a complex heterogeneous embedded … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2006 · 6,693 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsStrength Pareto Evolutionary Algorithm based Multi-Objective Optimization for Shortest Path Routing Problem in Computer NetworksSubbaraj Potti, Chitra ChinnasamyProblem statement: A new multi-objective approach, Strength Pareto Evolutionary Algorithm (SPEA), is presented in this paper to solve the shortest path routing problem. The routing problem is formulated as a multi-objective mathematical programming problem which attempts to minimize both cost and delay objectives simultaneously. Approach: SPEA handles the shortest path routing problem as a true multi-objective optimization problem with competing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 16 Dec 2010 · 8,216 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMulti-Objective Evolutionary Optimization of Sandwich Structures: An Evaluation by Elitist Non-dominated Sorting Evolution StrategyIlyani Akmar, A.B, O. Kramer, T. RabczukIn this study, an application of evolutionary multi-objective optimization algorithms on the optimization of sandwich structures is presented. The solution strategy is known as Elitist Non-Dominated Sorting Evolution Strategy (ENSES) wherein Evolution Strategies (ES) as Evolutionary Algorithm (EA) in the elitist Non-dominated Sorting Genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) procedure. Evolutionary algorithm seems a compatible approach to resolve multi-objective optimization problems because it … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 22 Apr 2015 · 7,323 accessesView PDF Cite
