Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesSome P-RAM Algorithms for Sparse Linear SystemsRakesh Kumar Katare, N.S. ChaudhariPRAM algorithms for Symmetric Gaussian elimination is presented. We showed actual testing operations that will be performed during Symmetric Gaussian elimination, which caused symbolic factorization to occur for sparse linear systems. The array pattern of processing elements (PE) in row major order for the specialized sparse matrix in formulated. We showed that the access function in2+jn+k contains topological properties. We … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2007 · 6,971 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesDesign of Output Codes for Fast Covering Learning using Basic Decomposition TechniquesAruna Tiwari, Narendra S. ChaudhariWe propose the design of output codes for solving the classification problem in Fast Covering Learning Algorithm (FCLA). For a complex multi-class problem normally the classifiers are constructed by combining the outputs of several binary ones. In this paper, we use the basic methods of decomposition; one per class (OPC) and Error Correcting Output Code (ECOC) with FCLA, binary to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2006 · 6,302 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesOn Analysis and Design of the Enhanced Firewall for Intranet SecurityU. K. Singh, A. K. Ramani, N. S. ChaudhariIntranet often employ an Internet firewall to mitigate risks of system penetration, data theft, data destruction and other security breaches. Conventional Internet firewalls impose an overly simple inside vs. outside model of security that is incompatible with many business practices that require extending limited trust to external entities. Additionally, firewall security perimeters are somewhat weak: they provide no protection from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2005 · 6,709 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesIncreasing Effectiveness of IDS to Improve Security in IntranetUmesh Kumar Singh, A. K. Ramani, Narendra S. Chaudhari, Vandana GuptaToday Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are becoming one of the most important tools for intranet security. Research regarding Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) has become more active with the recent increases in illegal accesses to computer systems. Many researchers focus only on the techniques or mechanisms for detecting intrusions automatically, without considering the security of IDSs themselves. When an intruder attacks … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2005 · 7,146 accessesView PDF Cite
