Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleFuzzy Cost Enabled Cluster Based Multipath Routing Algorithm for Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksM. Gomathi, G. RajendranProblem statement: This article proposes the selection of best paths in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) based on multipath routing with fuzzy cost in respect of the Fuzzy Cost Enabled Cluster based Routing (FCECR). Approach: By implementing FCECR, we have made changes to reduce the cost and route discovery overhead for the selection of best path from multipath routing from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 9 · 9 Aug 2012 · 7,030 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Multipath Energy Efficient Congestion Control Scheme for Wireless Sensor NetworkB. Chellaprabha, S. Chenthur PandianProblem statement: In most of the existing works either detection of congestion or scheme for congestion control in wireless sensor networks are presented. A very few works have been done, taken in to account of both congestion detection and congestion control. In most of the congestion detection works they have not achieved accuracy in detecting congestion and have resulted with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 6 · 20 Mar 2012 · 6,857 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMultipath Adaptive Packet Dispersion for Voice ApplicationsJ. Faritha Banu, V. RamachandranProblem statement: The quality of Voice over IP applications is decided by the main factors like network capacity and technologies such as codec type, Packet Loss Concealment (PLC) and Forward Error Correction (FEC). Approach: In MPLS networks multiple Label Switched Paths (LSP) are established between MPLS ingress and egress nodes to enhance the network performance and QoS for subscribers. To … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 27 Jan 2012 · 7,716 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDesign of Transmitter for CDM Based 2×2 Multiple Input Multiple Output Channel Sounder for Multipath Delay MeasurementM. Habib Ullah, M. T. Islam, Mandeep Sing et al.Problem statement: Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) wireless communication system is an innovative solution to improve the bandwidth efficiency by exploiting multipath-richness of the propagation environment. The degree of multipath-richness of the channel will determine the capacity gain attainable by MIMO deployment. Approach: Therefore, it is very important to have accurate knowledge of the propagation environment/radio channel before MIMO implement. … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 24 Nov 2011 · 7,898 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Metrics of Multipath State Aware Concurrent Multipath Transfer using Redundant Transfer in Stream Control Transmission Protocol Multihoming for Symmetric PathsM. Subramaniam, D. ManjulaProblem statement: In multihomed host, if data transfer starts using CMT, unaware of paths status causes delay in data transfer or packet loss due to path failure. Transmission Path (one or more paths) failures result in out-of-order data delivery causing receiver buffer blocking and preventing sender from transmitting further data. Approach: Multipath State Aware Concurrent Multipath Transfer using Redundant Transfer … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 21 Oct 2011 · 6,798 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleNew Solution for Reducing Doppler Shift in the MB-OFDM System Over High Mobility Multipath Channel for V&I CommunicationSanaa Kabil, Raja Elassali, Fouzia Elbahhar et al.The MB-OFDM has been proposed as a good candidate to ensure Vehicle to Infrastructure communication (V&I). Fast moving vehicles present challenges for the proposed system especially for high mobility (250 km h-1). The main objective in this study is to study and investigate the impact of Doppler shift on the quality of transmitted/received signal in terms of Bit Error Rate … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 3 · 29 Apr 2015 · 7,170 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA New Method for Multipath Clustering for Over-the-Horizon RadarAshraf M. Aziz, Senior Member, IEEE et al.Over-the-Horizon Radar (OTHR) exploits the refraction of high frequency radiation through the ionosphere layers to detect targets beyond the line-of-sight horizon. Multipath propagation between the radar and the detected targets may results in multiple spatially separated tracks for a single target to be observed at the receiver site. Consequently there is a heavy traffic, especially in case of multiple targets, … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 10 · 29 Sep 2016 · 7,285 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLink Stability with Energy Aware Ad Hoc on Demand Multipath Routing Protocol in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksSenthil Murugan Tamilarasan, Kannan EswariahMobile Ad Hoc Network is one of the wireless network in which mobile nodes are communicate with each other and have no infrastructure because no access point. The MANET protocols can be classified as proactive and reactive routing protocol. The proactive routing protocols, all nodes which participated in network have routing table. This table updated periodically and is used to … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 24 Jul 2013 · 6,505 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Evaluation of Probabilistic Relay in Ad Hoc On-demand Distance Vector and Ad Hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector Under Highly Dynamic EnvironmentsRadityo Anggoro, Teruaki Kitasuka, Ryoji Nakamura, Masayoshi AritsugiVehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs) are a specific class of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs). Since vehicles tend to move in a high speed, the network topology is rapidly changed. Thus vehicle’s connectivity problem is one of the interesting issues in VANETs. Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) is an extended version of ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV). … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 7 · 22 Jun 2013 · 7,050 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMultipath Routing Protocol for Effective Local Route Recovery in Mobile Ad hoc NetworkD. Jagadeesan, S. K. SrivatsaProblem statement: In mobile ad hoc networks, frequent mobility during the transmission of data causes route failure which results in route rediscovery. In this, we propose multipath routing protocol for effective local route recovery in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET). In this protocol, each source and destination pair establishes multiple paths in the single route discovery and they are cached … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 8 Jun 2012 · 6,931 accessesView PDFCite
