Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsShape Retrieval through Angular Distance with Shortest Augmenting Path AlgorithmD. Chitra, N. Devarajan, T. ManigandanProblem statement: The shape of an object is very important in object recognition. Shape matching is a challenging problem, especially when articulation and deformation of a part occurs. These variations may be insignificant for human recognition but often cause a matching algorithm to give results that are inconsistent with our perception. Approach: We proposed a customized approach to measure similarity … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 21 Oct 2011 · 6,822 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAlternative Monitoring Approach for IPTVAngel Ignatov, Hristo Toshkov Hristov, Jan Latal et al.IPTV emerged in the late 1990s as a solution for delivering Video on Demand (VoD) and live television over managed networks. Its widespread adoption accelerated after the expansion of broadband internet and the introduction of web technologies such as HTML5 and adaptive streaming protocols (MPEG-DASH and HLS), which enabled television content to be streamed directly through web browsers. Across Europe, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 11 · 8 Oct 2026 · 438 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSHAPE RETRIEVAL THROUGH MAHALANOBIS DISTANCE WITH SHORTEST AUGMENTING PATH ALGORITHMS. Muruganathan, N. Devarajan, D. Chitra, T. ManigandanShape matching and object recognition plays an vital role in the computer vision. The shape matching is difficult in case of the real world images like mpeg database images since the real world images has the internal and external contours. The Mahalanobis distance based shape context approach is proposed to measure similarity between shapes and exploit it for shape retrieval. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 3 Dec 2013 · 6,860 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDigital Video Watermarking in the Discrete Cosine Transform DomainSadik Ali M. Al-Taweel, Putra Sumari, Saleh Ali K. Alomari, Anas J.A. HusainProblem statement: Nowadays, digital watermarks have recently become recognized as a solution for protecting copyright of the digital multimedia. For a watermark to be useful, it must be perceptually invisible and robust against any possible attack and image processing by those who seek to corsair the material, researchers have considered various approaches like JPEG compression, geometric distortions and noising. Approach: … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2009 · 7,249 accessesView PDF Cite
