Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDataset of Selected Medicinal Plant Species of the Genus Brachylaena: A Comparative Application of Deep Learning Models for Plant Leaf RecognitionAvuya Deyi, Arnaud Nguembang Fadja, Eleonora Deborah Goosen et al.Since several active pharmaceutical ingredients are sourced from medicinal plants, identifying and classifying these plants are generally a valuable and essential task during the drug manufacturing process. For many years, identifying and classifying those plants have been exclusively done by experts in the domain, such as botanists and herbarium curators. Recently, powerful computer vision technologies, using deep learning or deep … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 11 · 17 Oct 2023 · 6,219 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordCooling Load Prediction in the Under-Actuated Zone with Multilayer Perceptron Artificial Neural NetworkYaddarabullah, Aedah Abd Rahman, Amna SaadThis study focuses on addressing the challenge of predicting cooling loads in under-actuated zones, where the variability in occupant behavior, environmental conditions, and electronic usage creates complex dynamics. Traditional models like Support Vector Regression (SVR) and E-Lastic-Net (ELN) often struggle to capture these non-linear relationships, leading to inefficient Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) management and increased energy consumption. To … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 3 · 27 Jan 2025 · 5,300 accessesView PDF Cite
