Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Spectrum Sensing and Allocation Model for Primary User Detection and Interference Mitigation in Television WhitespacesJoachim Notcker, Emmanuel Adetiba et al.Television White Space (TVWS) emerges as an encouraging solution to address the challenge of a restricted wireless communication spectrum. It denotes the frequency range spanning from 54-790 MHz and researchers have increasingly explored its propagation characteristics in recent years. Nonetheless, a notable hindrance to its effective utilization lies in the interference between primary and secondary users, as well as interference … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 3 · 29 Jan 2024 · 5,228 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Evaluation of Interference Mitigation Techniques in 4G Networks in Mobile EnvironmentsEmna Hajlaoui, Abdelhakim Khlifi, Samia Dardouri et al.Intercell Interference (ICI) is one of the major factors that limit the performance and Quality of Service (QoS) of 4G wireless networks (Long Term Evolution/LTE-Advanced). For this reason, heterogeneous networks present an attractive solution for the improvement of mobile network’s services to provide better data rates and coverage. So, a key scheme in 4G traffic processing is the interference mitigation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 12 · 25 Dec 2019 · 7,317 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleContributions to the Synthesis of Fixed Axle Gears by Avoiding the Interference PhenomenonRelly Victoria Virgil PetrescuIt can be seen that the minimum number of teeth required to avoid interference for the standard pressure angle, normally on the alpha0 = 20° decomposition circle, is 13, corresponding to a transmission ratio i = 1 and increases with the transmission ratio i reaching to the maximum value of 18 teeth for i>100. For normal transmission ratios, values ranging … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 21 May 2019 · 6,488 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMIGITATION OF INTER CELL INTERFERENCE AND FADING IN LTE SYSTEMSNagarajan Amutha Prabha, Gorla Vidhya Sagar, Venugopal ManikandanIn this study we investigate the compensation of outage area utmost. It introduces the self optimization of the neighbors of the outage cells with antenna tilts for the generation of the most suitable configuration settings for the network with base stations/eNodeBs positional information. All the neighbors of the outage cell increase their coverage area and thus contribute to cell outage … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 28 Nov 2013 · 6,736 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleENERGY EFFICIENT AND INTERFERENCE AWARE PROVISIONING IN VIRTUALIZED SERVER CLUSTER ENVIRONMENTMohan Raj Velayudhan Kumar, Shriram RaghunathanIT service providers, employ server virtualization as a main building block to improve system utilization, improve system manageability, reduce operational costs which includes energy consumption driving economies of scale with shared resources. Virtualization enables co-locating and efficient assignments of virtual servers within the bounds of limited number of heterogeneous physical servers, with Virtual Machines (VM) sharing the limited physical server … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 1 · 12 Nov 2013 · 6,692 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleElectromagnetic Interference Mitigation for Inverter fed AC DrivesC. Karthikeyan, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: In switched mode PWM inverter EMI noise occurs during high (dv/dt) transient period. This EMI noise is mitigated using Active Common mode EMI filter in front of the source. Approach: This study proposes a new active common mode Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) filter for switched mode PWM Inverter applications. The proposed filter is based on current sensing and compensation … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 10 · 12 Sep 2011 · 7,309 accessesView PDFCite
