Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsANFIS Aided AODV Routing Protocolfor Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksVivek Sharma, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaCommunication between mobile nodes is the key purpose of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs). However, increase in the traffic leads to multiple challenging issues like congestion among nodes, consumption of more bandwidth, high energy requirement and low efficiency output. A powerful solution to these issues of the MANET is to use intelligent routing protocols. The Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 10 · 12 Oct 2017 · 7,432 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRoute Optimization using Hybrid GRU Learning Model for SDN and Edge-Based VANET TopologySavitha Kumar, Chandrasekar ChinnasamyIntelligent Transportation System (ITS) offersoutstanding features, including security applications and emergency alerts.Unfortunately, ITS limits traffic control services, adaptability, andadjustability due to the traffic volume. Hence, expanding the standard VehicularAd hoc Networks (VANET) framework is a requirement. As a result, in the latestdays, the concept of Software-Defined Networking based Vehicular Ad hocNetworks (SDN-VANETs) has drawn considerable attention, creating VANETssmarter. The SDN-VANETs … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 8 · 26 Aug 2022 · 6,169 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAdopting Intelligent Modelling to Trace Fault in Underground Optical Network: A Comprehensive SurveyOwusu Nyarko-Boateng, Adebayo F. Adekoya, Benjamin A. WeyoriAiming at building new global optical network infrastructure optimized with fault tracing capabilities, light transmission monitoring, packets re-routing and reconfigurations require an intelligent optical transmission system. An intelligent approach to solve the increasingly complex problems, to enhance fault tracing in the underground optical network infrastructure need to be adopted. For over forty decades now, Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) technology … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 10 · 13 Oct 2020 · 6,727 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSolving Traffic Routing System using VANet Strategy Combined with a Distributed Swarm Intelligence OptimizationElgarej Mouhcine, Khalifa Mansouri, Youssfi MohamedProposing an efficient strategy to reduce traffic congestion is an essential step towards improvement as we take into consideration the unpredictable and dynamic infrastructure of the road network. With the advances in computing technologies and communications protocols, we can retrieve any type of data and receive in real-time the state of traffic congestion at each road using Electronic Toll Collection … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 11 · 12 Nov 2018 · 7,597 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSolving School Bus Routing Problem by Intelligent Water Drops AlgorithmAmeera Saleh Jaradat, Mohammed Qassim ShatnawiThe School Bus Routing Problem (SBRP) is an essential subject in the development of transportation. Solving the problem will have a great impact on the transportation systems by improving the quality of the provided service and reducing the operations costs. SBRP tries to find an efficient school buses plan where each bus takes up students from different bus stops and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 11 Jan 2018 · 8,593 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImpact of the Smart City Architecture, Speed and Traffic Density of Vehicles on the Performances of VanetsAbdallah Rhattoy, Mohamed Lahmer, Idriss ChanaVehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANET) is one of the emerging and actual research fields in automotive companies and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) designers. In the Smart City the presence of such networks opens the way for a wide range of applications such as safety applications, mobility and connectivity for both driver and passengers to exploit the transport systems in a smoothly … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 11 · 15 Nov 2017 · 7,545 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractVision-Based Obstacle Avoidance of Mobile Robot Using Quantized Spatial ModelSalaheddin Odeh, Rasha Faqeh, Laila Abu Eid, Nihal ShamasnehProblem statement: Problem of moving a robot through unknown environment has attracted much attention over past two decades. Such problems have several difficulties and complexities that are unobserved, besides the ambiguity of how this can be achieved since a robot may encounter obstacles of all forms that must be bypassed in an intelligent manner. This research had been aimed to … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 8,061 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDynamic Traffic Light Sequence Algorithm Using RFIDKhalid A.S. Al-Khateeb, Jaiz A.Y. Johari, Wajdi F. Al-KhateebProblem statement: Traffic congestion and tidal flow management were recognized as major problems in modern urban areas, which have caused much frustration and loss of man hours. Approach: In order to solve the problem an intelligent RFID traffic control has been developed. It has circumvented or avoided the problems that usually arise with systems such as those, which use image … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2008 · 21,778 accessesView PDFCite
