Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsNetwork Planning and Optimization for Multi-Hop Relay Placement in WiMAX NetworksChitapong Wechtaison, Chutima PrommakProblem statement: Wireless access networks can provide high level of quality of services at low network installation budget if the networks are planned by using proper methods. In this research, we developed efficient network planning methods for Wireless Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) networks in which the multiple hops of relay stations are deployed. Approach: An integer linear programming model … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 9 · 9 Aug 2012 · 7,459 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsOptimal Network Design for Efficient Energy Utilization in Wireless Sensor NetworksChutima Prommak, Sujitra ModhirunProblem statement: This research presents a study of the optimal network design for efficient energy utilization in continuous data-gathering Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). We first examine the problem of minimizing the network cost through the minimum number of relay-station installation. Then we further investigate the problem of minimizing the energy consumption of the sensor nodes. Approach: We model the network … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 3 Nov 2011 · 7,350 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Optimal Portfolio Selection based on a Hybrid Approach to improve Projects Oriented OrganizationsDriss El Hannach, Rabia Marghoubi, Mohamed DahchourNowadays, managing and allocating resources to the project portfolio is one of the most critical decision-making processes in project-oriented organizations. To achieve the most value in terms of profitability, these companies should consider taking advantage of ongoing projects and optimal management of their resources allocated to the most optimal project portfolio. Project Portfolio Selection (PPS) and resource allocation are critical … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 11 · 7 Nov 2018 · 7,279 accessesView PDF Cite
