Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRoute Optimization using Hybrid GRU Learning Model for SDN and Edge-Based VANET TopologySavitha Kumar, Chandrasekar ChinnasamyIntelligent Transportation System (ITS) offersoutstanding features, including security applications and emergency alerts.Unfortunately, ITS limits traffic control services, adaptability, andadjustability due to the traffic volume. Hence, expanding the standard VehicularAd hoc Networks (VANET) framework is a requirement. As a result, in the latestdays, the concept of Software-Defined Networking based Vehicular Ad hocNetworks (SDN-VANETs) has drawn considerable attention, creating VANETssmarter. The SDN-VANETs … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 8 · 26 Aug 2022 · 6,160 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA TIME SYNCHRONIZED HYBRID VEHICULAR AD HOC NETWORK OF ROADSIDE SENSORS AND VEHICLES FOR SAFE DRIVINGDahlia Sam, V. Cyril RajVANET is a type of ad hoc network in which the moving vehicles act as nodes. There has been lot of research for using VANETs in many applications. One of the main applications is the use of VANETs to improve driving safety. In any safety related applications, the vehicular nodes have to constantly communicate with each other and the roadside … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 10 Apr 2014 · 8,109 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhancing Quality of Service of Video Streaming Applications Over Vehicular Ad-Hoc NetworksPooja Sharma, Ajay KaulVehicular ad-hoc networks play quite an important role in communication as it is challenging to have communication across VANET nodes because of high mobility. Video streaming applications over ad-hoc networks are quite difficult because of more mobility of VANET nodes. There are various existing techniques to optimize or improve the video dissemination over ad-hoc networks. Video streaming applications need a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2025 · 3,387 accessesView PDF Cite
