Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAdaptive Fault Tolerant Routing Algorithm for Tree-Hypercube MulticomputerQatawneh MohammadA Connected tree-hypercube with faulty links and/or nodes is called injured tree-hypercube. To enable any non faulty node to communicate with any other non faulty node in an injured tree-hypercube, the information on component failures has to be made available to non faulty nodes to route message around the faulty components. We proposed an adaptive fault tolerant routing algorithm for … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 6,595 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRealization of Fault Tolerant Routing Protocol for ZigbeeSharmila Sankar, SankaranarayananProblem statement: Increased use of handheld devices and sensor devices pose problems in existing routing protocols. The performance of the existing routing protocols deteriorates very much on these dense scenarios. Control overheads are very important parameter in deciding the performance of routing protocols, which are introduced during route discovery and maintenance process. Denser the network, higher is the control overhead … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 2 Mar 2012 · 6,827 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Fault Tolerant Congestion Aware Routing Protocol for Mobile Adhoc NetworksG. Rajkumar, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: The performance of ad hoc routing protocols will significantly degrade when there are faulty nodes in the network. Packet losses and bandwidth degradation are caused due to congestion and thus, time and energy is wasted during its recovery. The fault tolerant congestion aware routing protocol addresses these problems by exploring the network redundancy through multipath routing. Approach: In … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 23 Feb 2012 · 6,446 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsIrregular Class of Multistage Interconnection Network in Parallel ProcessingSandeep Sharma, K. S. Kahlon, P. K. Bansal, Kawaljeet SinghA major problem in designing a large-scale parallel and distributed system was the construction of an Interconnection Network (IN) to provide inter-processor communication. One of the biggest issues in the development of such a system was the development of an effective architecture and algorithms that have high reliability, give good performance (even in the presence of faults), low cost, low … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2008 · 7,057 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecure Antnet Routing Algorithm for Scalable Adhoc Networks Using Elliptic Curve CryptographyV. Vijayalakshmi, T. G. PalaniveluThe secure end-to-end route discovery in the decentralized Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) should have to meet the requirements of prevention of DoS attacks on data traffic, should be adaptive and fault tolerant and must have high speed, low energy overhead and scalability for future development. In this research a secure routing using antnet mechanism and mutual authentication using Elliptic Curve … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2007 · 6,951 accessesView PDF Cite
