Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReal MDS Codes for Error Correction: Construction and an Application on Federated Learning Pre Aggregation ValidationRavi Varma B., N. Suresh Babu, Santhosh Kumar K. P., Shailesh SivanReal number codes play a crucial role in correcting errors within communication systems that involve the transmission of analog signals or continuous data. Among these codes, Maximum Distance Separable (MDS) codes stand out as highly efficient for error correction. The present research paper is on the construction of a class of real number MDS codes for any desired dimension. The … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 12 · 27 Feb 2026 · 1,347 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleError Identification and Mitigation Analysis Method Using HFACS on VR HMDNkingo June Thomas, Yan SuHuman error has long been recognized as a key factor influencing safety, performance, and efficiency in complex tasks, including those involving advanced technologies. In the context of Virtual Reality (VR) Head-Mounted Displays (HMDs), which are increasingly applied in fields such as aviation maintenance, the presence of human errors can compromise both user experience and operational reliability. This paper presents a … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 24 Nov 2025 · 2,937 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA New Methodology for Neural Network Training Ensures Error Reduction in Time Series ForecastingPaola A. Sánchez-Sánchez, José Rafael García-GonzálezArtificial Neural Networks (ANN) consists of some components, such as architecture and learning algorithm. These components have a significant effect on the performance of the ANN, but finding good parameters is a difficult task to achieve. An important requirement for this task is to ensure the reduction of error when inputs and/or hidden neurons are added. In practice, it is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 7 · 4 Jul 2017 · 7,171 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOn the Need of Source Address for Route-Error Delivery in 6LoWPANShafique Ahmad ChaudhryLow-power Wireless Personal Area Networks (LoWPANs) comprise devices that conform to the IEEE standard 802.15.4. These networks need to be connected with other wireless and wired networks in order to maximize the utilization of information and other resources which are mainly associated with the Internet Protocol (IP)-based networks. The transmission of IPv6 over Low Power Wireless Personal Area Networks (6LoWPANs), … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 15 Nov 2015 · 6,286 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleBit Error Rate Analysis of RS (7, 3) Coded Frequency Shift Keying Using SimulinkT.A. Shanmugasundaram, V. VijayabaskarBit Error Rate is an essential parameter to quantize the effectiveness of transceiver circuits used in low power, low duty cycle sensor nodes. BER can figure out their performance in terms of number of retransmissions, which keeps the node to consume its battery power undesirably rather than conserving it. Forward Error Correction schemes ensure the transceiver circuit to effectively perform … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 2 · 25 Mar 2015 · 7,047 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Comparative Study of Construction Techniques of t-Error Correction/All Unidirectional Error Detection CodesThabit Sultan Mohammed, Laith A. Al-JobouriThe theory and application of (t-EC-AUED) codes was presented and among the methods proposed in literature, the most efficient was chosen and a software was written for encoding and decoding of the codes. Comparison and evaluation of the construction techniques were carried out. A t-Error Correction (EC)/All Unidirectional Error Detection (AUED) codes are constructed by appending a single check symbol … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 28 Jan 2015 · 6,572 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTHROUGHPUT AND BIT ERROR RATE ANALYSIS OF LUBY TRANSFORM CODES WITH LOW AND MEDIUM NODAL DEGREE DISTRIBUTIONSI. Joe Louis Paul, S. Radha, J. RajaThis study presents two degree distributions namely low and medium nodal degree distributions aiming to build a low overhead Luby Transform (LT) codes. The motivation is to design a fast encoder/decoder especially for real-time multimedia streaming and multicasting applications using LT codes. The key idea of this study is to restrict the average degree of the transmitted encoded symbols as … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 9 · 12 Aug 2014 · 6,614 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTHE ERROR REGISTRATION TECHNIQUE FOR MANEUVERING RADAR NETWORKLiu Yu, Wang Haipeng, Xiong Wei, He YouThis study studies are error registration algorithm for the maneuvering radar network, which is one of the difficult problems of multi-sensor registration. When the maneuvering radar has no orientation bias, measurement equations of both attitude bias and measurement bias can be established by using the common targets observed by different radars. Based on the equations, the real-time estimation of both … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 25 Nov 2013 · 6,581 accessesView PDFCite
