Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMobility and Handover Technique in Heterogeneous Wireless NetworksRadhwan Abdullah, Zuriati Zukarnain, Farzaneh Masoumiyan, Azizol AbdullahThe management techniques for Mobile IPv6 between different wireless technologies are very important to complete the handover process with the least possible delay. In the fast handover, when a mobile node moves to another network, it needs to do handover operations. These operations have a severe impact on the handover latency. This paper proposes an Enhanced Advanced Duplicate Address Detection … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2015 · 6,752 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecure and Efficient Transmission in Mobile Ad hoc Network to Identify the Fake ID's Using Fake ID Detection ProtocolS. Gopalakrishnan, P. GaneshkumarMobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a frequent infrastructure less self- coordinating network, in which each and every mobile node works as a source, destination and a wireless relay. Such pattern of wireless network is produced by dynamic mobile nodes without any centralized or fixed or existing network infrastructure. In MANET, however, there is no static network infrastructure and mobile … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 29 Jan 2015 · 6,357 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractENHANCING SECURITY FOR IPV6 NEIGHBOR DISCOVERY PROTOCOL USING CRYPTOGRAPHYRosilah Hassan, Amjed Sid Ahmed, Nur Effendy OsmanInternet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) would gradually be replaced by Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) as the next generation of Internet protocol. The Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP), one of the main protocols in the IPv6 suite, comprises Neighbor Discovery for IPv6. NDP is used by both hosts and routers. Its functions include Neighbor Discovery (ND), Router Discovery (RD), Address Auto … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 9 · 3 Jul 2014 · 7,703 accessesView PDFCite
