Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFrequency Extended-MUSIC Method for DOA Estimation in Indoor IR-UWB EnvironmentHajer Meknessi, Ferid Harrabi, Ali GharsallahIn recent years, many researchers have been developed in order to ensure an accurate localization. So many techniques have been used the direction of arrival to estimate and track of IR-UWB signals. In this study, we propose a new direction of arrival estimation method for impulse radio UWB signals. This technique based on Extended-Music algorithm. The proposed method has high … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 4 · 8 Apr 2016 · 7,285 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Overview of Direction-of-Arrival Estimation using an Antenna Array with Four ElementsLotfi Osman, Imen Sfar, Ali GharsallahThe Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) estimation techniques using antenna arrays are applied in large areas of research fields and have received great attention in literature. Mobile communication, Sonar and Radar are just some examples among a large number of possible applications. For example, in military application, it is very important to recognize the direction of any threat. Another example of commercial application … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 12 · 14 Dec 2012 · 7,777 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIndoor Characterisation using High-Resolution Signal Processing Based on Five-Port Techniques for Signal Input Multiple Output SystemsSmari Mouheddin, Bel hadj Taher JamelProblem statement: The development of wideband mobile communication systems requires a deep knowledge of the characteristics of the indoor mobile radio channel. The characterization of the indoor multi-path propagation structure is important in developing antifading techniques for high-speed digital radio access. The high-resolution of the estimation of the Time of Arrival (ToA) and the Direction of Arrival (DoA) of multi-path … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2009 · 7,684 accessesView PDF Cite
