Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRobust Decentralized Control of Unified Power Flow ControllerHossein Shayeghi, Ali AbdolalipourA new approach based on structured singular value is proposed for the robust decentralized Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) design. To achieve decentralization, using the schauder fixed point theorem the synthesis and analysis of Multi-Input Multi-output (MIMO) control system is translated into set of equivalent Multi-Input Single-Output (MISO) control system. Power systems such as the other industrial plants contain different … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,151 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDesign of Robust Decentralized Control for UPFC Controller Based on Structured Singular ValueSeyed Abbas Taher, Shahabeddin Akbari, Ali Abdolalipour, Reza HemattiNew approach based on structured singular value (µ-synthesis) was proposed for the robust decentralized unified power flow controller (UPFC) design. To achieve decentralization, using the Schauder fixed point theorem the synthesis and analysis of multi-input multi-output (MIMO) control system translated into a set of equivalent multi-input single-output (MISO) control system. Power systems similar to other industrial plants contain different kinds … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2008 · 7,032 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOptimal Decentralized Load Frequency Control Using HPSO Algorithms in Deregulated Power SystemsSeyed Abbas Taher, Reza Hematti, Ali Abdolalipour, Seyed Hadi TabeiLoad Frequency Control (LFC) is one the most important issues in electrical power system design/operation and is becoming much more significant recently with increasing size, changing structure and complexity in interconnected power systems. In practice LFC systems use simple Proportional-Integral (PI) or Integral (I) controllers. However, since the PI or I control parameters are usually tuned based on classical or … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2008 · 7,389 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRobust Decentralized Load Frequency Control Using Multi Variable QFT Method in Deregulated Power SystemsSeyed Abbas Taher, Reza HemattiThe Load Frequency Control problem has been a major subject in electrical power system design/operation and is becoming more significant recently with increasing size, changing structure and complexity in interconnected power systems. In practice LFC systems use simple proportional-integral controllers. However, since the PI control parameters are usually tuned based on classical or trial-and-error approaches, they are incapable of obtaining … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2008 · 7,088 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDecentralized Controller Design for Static Synchronous Compensator Using Robust Quantitative Feedback Theory MethodSeyed Abbas Taher, Reza Hematti, Ali Abdolalipour, Majid NematiThe Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) provides shunt compensation in similar way to the Static VAR Compensator (SVC) but utilizes a voltage source converter rather than capacitors and reactor. In practice systems use simple Proportional-Integral (PI) controllers for control of STATCOM. However, since the PI control parameters were usually tuned based on classical or trial-and-error approaches, they were incapable of obtaining … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2008 · 7,459 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Blockchain-based Renewable Energy Investment Management Platform: Decentralized Sustainable Development (DeSDev)Warodom Werapun, Tanwa Arpornthip, Esther Sangiamkul et al.In this study, a novel blockchain-based platform for renewable energy investment is proposed. The blockchain technology has been shown to be a reliable way to send financial transactions across the world in a decentralized manner, at a fraction of the cost and with a faster transaction time. The proposed platform is capable of handling an equity-sharing investment program for solar … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 11 · 28 Nov 2020 · 7,838 accessesView PDFCite
