Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleJBOOM: Java Based Object Oriented Model of Software Configuration ManagementBhavya Mehta, S. K. MuttooMost of the present Software Configuration Management systems deal with version and configurations in the form of files and directories, the need today is to have a Software Configuration Management system that handles versions and configurations directly in terms of functions (program module). A major objective of this research is the use of Java in the Software Configuration Management systems. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2006 · 6,888 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleQualitative Assessments of the Software Architectures of Configuration Management SystemsAbhay Kothari, A. K. Ramani, P. K. ChandeThe Configuration Management (CM) is a very important area of concentration in software development and maintenance processes. Quality parameters for Configuration Management Tools’ architectural designs require rigorous identification and measurement. Two methods for quantitative assessment of quality parameters of the software architectures are proposed. These methods are based upon modularization properties, like, cohesion type, coupling type, module complexity, module size … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2006 · 6,812 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleConfiguration Management Issues in Software Process ManagementParminder Kaur, Hardeep SinghA software development process is concerned primarily with the production aspect especially the management of software development. The development of a software process passes through various phases and there is a need to manage all issues particularly configuration issues during the evolution of a software process.
