Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleINTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM IN SECURE SHELL TRAFFIC IN CLOUD ENVIRONMENTMehdi Barati, Azizol Abdullah, NurIzura Udzir et al.Due to growth of Cloud computing usage, the need to apply encrypted protocols to provide confidentiality and integrity of data increases dramatically. Attacker can take advantage of these protocols to hide the intrusion and evade detection. Many traditional attack detection techniques have been proposed to provide security in the networks but none of them can be implemented properly in encrypted … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 26 Jun 2014 · 7,856 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleMCWDRL: Multi-Cloud Workflow Scheduling Using Deep Reinforcement Learning and Improved Workflow Segmentation for Multi-Cloud EnvironmentsS. Gowri, A. SumathiThe rapid growth of cloud computing has led to complex workflow scheduling challenges in multi-cloud environments, where efficient resource utilization, minimized makespan, and reduced costs are paramount. Traditional scheduling algorithms often struggle to adapt to the dynamic nature of cloud resources and workflows, leading to suboptimal performance. To overcome this issue, the paper proposed a novel Multi-Cloud Workflow Scheduling using … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 6 · 1 Jul 2026 · 941 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleAdvanced Grasshopper Optimization Scheduling Algorithm (AGOSA) for Multi-Cloud EnvironmentsS. Gowri, A. SumathiThe multi-cloud scheduling problem refers to the challenging task of efficiently allocating and managing resources across multiple cloud environments, involving the optimization of task scheduling, resource allocation to minimize makespan, reduce resource costs, and handle the complexity of multi-cloud environments while making optimal scheduling decisions. To overcome this issue. The paper proposes a novel scheduling algorithm, the Advanced Grasshopper Optimization … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 10 · 24 Nov 2025 · 2,657 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleSecurity based Approach of SHA 384 and SHA 512 Algorithms in Cloud EnvironmentThambusamy Velmurugan, Sivakumar KarthigaCloud computing is going to be the next big thing in the era of internet world. As the world moves ahead towards enhancement of the cloud features we also have to take a serious consideration of the enhancing cloud securities to protect the end-user’s data. The major usage of this cloud feature are widely applied in the cloud based IT … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 10 · 28 Oct 2020 · 6,848 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleApplication of Viral System Algorithm in Load Balancing of Cloud EnvironmentDamodar Tiwari, Shailendra Singh, Sanjeev SharmaAs the cloud computing technology is gaining popularity with time, more and more users and applications are shifting towards it. This is why clouds are experiencing high load, which demands for load balancing of user tasks submitted to cloud for execution. This makes load balancing of non-preemptive tasks a key issue in cloud computing. Superior task scheduling leads to balanced … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 14 Jul 2018 · 8,411 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDecentralized Predictive Secure VS Placement in Cloud EnvironmentSuresh Baliram Rathod, Vuyyuru Krishna ReddyHosts in distributed cloud environment configured with Local Resource Monitors (LRM) that runs autonomously, monitors underlying host’s resource usage and balances underlying host’s resource usage by migrating Virtual Machine (VM) to other hosts. LRM takes decision for VM migration at fixed interval considering own current CPU usage and the other hosts CPU usage. The peer hosts unawares about the decision … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 21 Mar 2018 · 7,909 accessesView PDFCite
InvestigationOpen accessPhrase in the titleA Proposal for Standardized Data Attribution and Ownership in the Cloud EnvironmentTalal Talib JameelSince the earliest days of cloud computing there has been a steady migration of data from local data stores to the cloud. As more and more cloud platforms become available, this inflow of data has only increased dramatically. By some estimates, "the cloud" will hold 50% of all data by 2020. Localized management of data is typically handled using tools, … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 27 Dec 2016 · 7,041 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA Comparative Analysis of Task Scheduling Algorithms of Virtual Machines in Cloud EnvironmentSaleh Atiewi, Salman Yussof, Mohd EzaneeCloud computing is an interesting and beneficial area in modern distributed computing. It enables millions of users to use the offered services through their own devices or terminals. Cloud computing offers an environment with low cost, ease of use and low power consumption by utilizing server virtualization in its offered services (e.g., Infrastructure as a Service). The pool of Virtual … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 18 Sep 2015 · 7,648 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDISTRIBUTIVE POWER MIGRATION AND MANAGEMENT ALGORITHM FOR CLOUD ENVIRONMENTP. Prakash, G. Kousalya, Shriram K. Vasudevan, Kawshik K. RangarajuIn cloud computing, the resources are provided as service over the internet on demand basis. The resources such as servers, networks, storage, applications are dynamically scaled and virtualized. The demand grows gradually for each virtual machine in a cloud computing environment over time. So, it is necessary to manage the resources under each cluster to match the demand in order … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 29 Nov 2013 · 6,510 accessesView PDFCite
