Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsON THE ABSENCE OF ANTIMATTER FROM THE UNIVERSE, DARK MATTER, THE FINE STRUCTURE PARAMETER, THE FLUCTUATIONS OF THE COSMIC MICROWAVE BACKGROUND RADIATION AND THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE OF THE UNIVERSEEmmanuil ManousosThe theory of selfvariations correlates five cosmological observations considered to be unrelated by the physical theories of the previous century. The absence of antimatter from the Universe, the Dark Matter, the slight variation of the fine structure parameter, the temperature fluctuations of the cosmic microwave background radiation and the temperature difference between the northern and southern hemisphere of the Universe … …Physics International, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 28 Nov 2014 · 8,881 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNew Computer Aided Detection Method for the Effective Detection of Breast CancerBalasubramaniam Senthilkumar, Govindaswamy UmamaheswariAnalyzing mammogram images is the most challenging task for radiologists in detecting breast cancer. Computer Aided Detection (CAD) plays major role in detecting such disease. Preprocessing, segmentation and detection are the processes involved in CAD. In this study, we have designed a CAD by improving the processes for the effective detection for breast cancer. Selective median filter has been used … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 4 · 13 Mar 2013 · 7,174 accessesView PDF Cite
