Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPerformance Analysis of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Based Bidirectional Relay Network in the Presence of Phase NoiseV. N. Senthil Kumaran, S. Rajkumar, S. J. ThiruvengadamIn this study, the performance of OFDM based bidirectional relay network which employs Physical Layer Network Coding (PLNC) is analyzed in the presence of phase noise. The bidirectional relay network is assumed to consist of two sources and a relay, where each node has a single antenna and operates in half duplex mode. The PLNC based OFDM system transmits high … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 11 · 9 Sep 2013 · 6,644 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImplementation of IP Video Streaming Software to Identify Availability and AudienceVitor Chaves de Oliveira, Sérgio Bimbi Junior, Andreiwid Sheffer Corrêa et al.The perpetual rise of the video on demand is currently one of the leading challenges the telecommunications industry faces. It per passes the eternal comparison with a service that continuously set’s the bar at a highly elevated consumer quality. And the user, advertiser and all stakeholders involved not only are used to it, but demand equal and/or similar value, i.e., … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 11 Jun 2018 · 8,600 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMisbehaving Node Detection in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks using Multi Hop Acknowledgement SchemeUsha Sakthivel, S. RadhaProblem statement: For any node in a Mobile Ad hoc Network conservation of battery power and bandwidth are the priority. Hence, they try to reduce the overload they would otherwise incur when they forward packets. This selfish behavior of a node affects the throughput of the network. The nodes may also choose a back off value of shorter duration. These … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 5 · 7 May 2011 · 6,714 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Analysis of IEEE 802.16d using Forward Error CorrectionVenkatesh Sekar, V. Palanisamy, K. BaskaranProblem statement: Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access is the broadband wireless technology for terrestrial broadcast services in Metropolitan Area Networks. This BWA technology is based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) technology and considers the radio frequency range up to 2-11 GHz and 10-66 GHz. The objective of this research work is the performance analysis of AWGN, SUI-1 and SUI-2 … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 9 Mar 2011 · 7,343 accessesView PDF Cite
