Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleOut of Focus Blur Estimation Using Genetic AlgorithmMohsen E. MoghaddamIn this study, we have presented a method to estimate out of focus blur that works in noisy images precisely. The presented method has been designed based on two rough estimates of blur function parameters and then the real parameter has been calculated using a genetic algorithm. The structure of out of focus function was analyzed in frequency domain to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2008 · 6,918 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAN IMPROVEMENT OF STRUCTURAL SIMILARITY INDEX FOR IMAGE QUALITY ASSESSMENTEmna Chebbi, Faouzi Benzarti, Hamid AmiriThe image quality assessment has been widely used in image processing. Several researches have been developed and carried considering the Human Visual System (HVS). Under the hypothesis that human visual perception is extremely adapted to retrieve structural information from a scene, the SSIM index is the most widely used in this area, which leads to a better correlation with HVS. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 21 Nov 2013 · 7,419 accessesView PDFCite
