Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDesign of Telemedicine Robot using Behavior-based Control Architecture with Two-Step Fuzzy Logic OptimizationAndi Adriansyah, Nanda Ferdana, Setiyo Budiyanto, Julpri AndikaDesigning a telemedicine robot is a challenging task. Complexity, incomplete prior knowledge of the environment and unexpected situations set strict requirements for both the hardware and software components of the robot. Several robotics architectures have been proposed that try to cope with the above problems. The behavior-based approach has been established as the main alternative to new robot control. The … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 11 · 13 Nov 2019 · 7,585 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePeriodic Service Behavior Strain Analysis-Based Intrusion Detection in CloudS. Priya, R. S. PonmagalThe problem of intrusion detection in cloud environments has been well studied. The presence of adversaries would challenge data security in the cloud by generating intrusion attacks towards the cloud data and should be mitigated for the development of the cloud environment. In mitigating intrusion attacks, there exist several techniques in the literature. The method uses different features like frequency … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 2 · 28 Dec 2023 · 5,087 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMeasurement of Cooling Load-Based Occupant Behavior in Under-Actuated Zones: A Time-Variance ApproachYaddarabullah, Yusuf Maulana Akbar, Aedah Binti Abd Rahman, Amna SaadThis research is dedicated to the enhancement of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems through an innovative investigation of occupant behavior within under-actuated zones. These zones are strategically positioned to elevate indoor air quality and comfort through the intelligent utilization of HVAC systems. However, accurately measuring the cooling loads within these zones, which are inherently influenced by the presence of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 20, Issue 1 · 11 Dec 2023 · 6,162 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleNEURO FUZZY LINK BASED CLASSIFIER FOR THE ANALYSIS OF BEHAVIOR MODELS IN SOCIAL NETWORKSKannan Arputharaj, Ghosh Dalim Kumar, Indira Priya Ponnuvel, Ganapathy SannasiIn this study, a new link based classifier using neuro fuzzy logic has been proposed for analyzing the social behavior based on Weblog dataset. In this system, data are processed using a multistage structure. This system provides a diagnosis using a neuro fuzzy link based classifier that analyses the user’s behavior to specific diagnostic categories based on their cluster category … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 9 Dec 2013 · 6,900 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Laboratory Study of Curiosity Behavior in Feedback-Based DecisionsTakemi FujikawaProblem statement: This study adopts an interdisciplinary approach in conducting the study on "curiosity" with a toolset of experimental economics. Approach: I hypothesized that the Decision Makers (DMs) tended to exhibit curiosity behavior when two conditions were met: (1) The DMs faced "small feedback-based" decision problems; (2) The DMs bore tangible costs of their curiosity behavior. Results: This study was … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2010 · 7,463 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleSupport Vector Machine-Based Human Behavior Classification in Crowd through Projection and Star SkeletonizationB. Yogameena, E. Komagal, M. Archana, S. Raju AbhaikumarProblem statement: Detection of individual’s abnormal human behaviors in the crowd has become a critical problem because in the event of terror strikes. This study presented a real-time video surveillance system which classifies normal and abnormal behaviors in crowds. The aim of this research was to provide a system which can aid in monitoring crowded urban environments. Approach: The proposed … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2010 · 7,563 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Multinomial Logit Based Evaluation of the Behavior of the Life Insureds in RomaniaCristian Dragos, Simona DragosThe Romanian life insurance market is in full expansion. There exists competition between insurance companies as well as between different products of the same company. In this article we describe a study using data that we collected from clients of a Romanian insurance company. We have observed two types of variables: attributes of the insurance products (e.g., profitability, risk), as … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2009 · 7,756 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAdvances in Forest Fire Detection, Prediction and Behavior: A Comprehensive SurveyAhmad Alkhatib, Khalid JaberForest fires are a major environmental challenge that poses a threat to both human life and ecological health. To effectively prevent and manage forest fires, it is crucial to have reliable detection, prediction and behavior analysis systems in place. This study provides a comprehensive survey of the different approaches and techniques used for forest fire detection, prediction and behavior analysis. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 4 · 7 Feb 2024 · 6,421 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Design of Environmental-Based Learning to Instill Land Ethics in the LearnersEpon Ningrum, Ahmad YaniThough environment is universal, there are different perspectives under which it can be described. For instance, in learning, an environment is viewed as one of the learning components and aspects which help to actualise learning. An environment in its empirical form has potential characteristics which facilitate transformational learning efforts. This paper is based on the arguement that, if a learning … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 26 Dec 2016 · 7,171 accessesView PDFCite
