Over the years software development has responded to the increasing growth of wireless connectivity in developing network enabled software. The problem arises in the wireless domain due to random packet loss in transport layer and as well as in data link layer for the end … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2010 · 7,191 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAutomated Camera Monitoring System for Selective Areas of InterestNael HirzallahMonitoring a number of security cameras by security guards suffers from a number of difficulties especially when the events to be watched for may take months to occur or a large number of cameras exist. Furthermore, finding and hiring people for such tasks is usually expensive. Therefore, there are immediate needs for automated surveillance systems that save money, work in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2007 · 7,205 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDevelopment of a Prototype Automated Sorting System for Plastic RecyclingD. A. Wahab, A. Hussain, E. Scavino et al.Automated sorting for plastic recyclables has been seen as the way forward in the plastic recycling industry. Automated sorting provides significant improvements in terms of efficiency and consistency in the sorting process. In the case of macro sorting, which is the most common type of automated sorting, efficiency is determined by the mechanical details of the material handling system as … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2006 · 8,824 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAutomated 3D Particle Field Extraction and Tracking System Using Digital in-line HolographyHesham EldeebDigital holography for 3D particle field extraction and tracking is an active research topic. It has a great application in realizing characterization of micro-scale structures in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) with high resolution and accuracy. In-line configuration is studied in this study as the fundamental structure of a digital holography system. Digital holographic approach, not only eliminates wet chemical processing and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 6,536 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsLogic and the Mathematic Model of the Subject-Area Description for Corporate Information SystemsKonstantin Yurievich Maslenikov, Georgiy Ivanovich RevunkovAiming to build and receive a logic-mathematical substantiation and model of the process of constructing the description of any subject area for corporate information systems, the authors divided the subject area for building the system into constituent elements and the relationships between them. Using discrete mathematics methods to the graphs and two-seater predicates of the first order, we built an … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 1 · 2 Feb 2022 · 6,580 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Review on Automated Menu Planning ApproachesHea Choon Ngo, Yu-N Cheah, Ong Sing Goh et al.Planning is widely been used in many areas such as in medicine, administration, business, logistics, education, environment and family matters. In automated planning research, the word "plans" refers specifically to plans of action. It is about the representation of future behavior, generally a series of action, with temporal and other constraints on them for execution by some agents. Theoretically, planning … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 12 · 8 Feb 2017 · 8,183 accessesView PDFCite
