Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleRRDVCR: Real-Time Reliable Data Delivery Based on Virtual Coordinating Routing for Wireless Sensor NetworksVenkatesh, Chanchal Singh Sengar, Kuppanna Rajuk Venugopal et al.Real-time industrial application requires a routing protocol that guarantees data delivery with reliable, efficient and low end-to-end delay. Existing Two-Hop Velocity based Routing (THVR) protocol relates two-hop velocity to end-to-end delay to select the next forwarding node, that has the overhead of exchanging control packets and depleting the available energy in nodes. We propose a Real-Time Reliable Data delivery based … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 1 · 3 Jan 2018 · 8,237 accessesView PDF Cite

Review ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleArchitecture of an Ultra-Low-Power Fully Autonomous Universal Power Conditioner of Energy Harvester for Wireless Sensor Networks: A ReviewYeo Kim Heng, Md. Shabiul Islam, Susthitha Menon et al.A fully autonomous Universal Power Conditioner (UPC) that can accept energy from any micro-energy harvester (e.g., photovoltaic, thermoelectric, electromagnetic, piezoelectric etc.) is proposed. Generally, UPC removes the need of multiple optimized source specific converters. But, the proposed UPC architecture will be Ultra-Low-Power (ULP) with maximized efficiency to support the low energy levels generated by harvesting sources. This UPC uses a … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 3 · 28 Mar 2016 · 7,786 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Routing Optimization Based on Cross-Layer Design for Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs)Emansa Hasri Putra, Risanuri Hidayat, Widyawan, Wayan MustikaMultimedia applications are routed from source nodes via neighboring nodes to a sink in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSNs). However, the existing routing protocols in the WMSNs do not fulfill the quality of service (QoS) constraint yet for multimedia transmission. The WMSNs have specific characteristics such as multi-hop way, limited node capability and varying bandwidth, which can affect the quality … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2017 · 7,401 accessesView PDF Cite

Case ReportOpen accessIn the keywordsLoad Balancing Technique Based on Broadcasting and Residual Energy Using Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Protocol (LBEACH)Abdullah Soliman Alshraa, Venus Wazeer SamawiOne of the important factors of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is sensors lifetime. Elongating sensors lifetime increases the benefits from the network capabilities as much as possible. To elongate WSNs lifetime, power consumption should be reduced. To do so, load balance technique is applied to distribute the energy consumption among cluster’s nodes in the WSN. In each cluster, the node … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 13 Oct 2015 · 6,614 accessesView PDF Cite
