Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFractal (Mandelbrot and Julia) Zero-Knowledge Proof of IdentityMohammad Ahmad Alia, Azman Bin SamsudinWe proposed a new zero-knowledge proof of identity protocol based on Mandelbrot and Julia Fractal sets. The Fractal based zero-knowledge protocol was possible because of the intrinsic connection between the Mandelbrot and Julia Fractal sets. In the proposed protocol, the private key was used as an input parameter for Mandelbrot Fractal function to generate the corresponding public key. Julia Fractal … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 5 · 31 May 2008 · 6,965 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecure Antnet Routing Algorithm for Scalable Adhoc Networks Using Elliptic Curve CryptographyV. Vijayalakshmi, T. G. PalaniveluThe secure end-to-end route discovery in the decentralized Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) should have to meet the requirements of prevention of DoS attacks on data traffic, should be adaptive and fault tolerant and must have high speed, low energy overhead and scalability for future development. In this research a secure routing using antnet mechanism and mutual authentication using Elliptic Curve … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2007 · 6,959 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Digital Signature Scheme Based on Mandelbrot and Julia Fractal SetsMohammad Ahmad Alia, Azman Bin SamsudinThis paper describes a new cryptographic digital signature scheme based on Mandelbrot and Julia fractal sets. Having fractal based digital signature scheme is possible due to the strong connection between the Mandelbrot and Julia fractal sets. The link between the two fractal sets used for the conversion of the private key to the public key. Mandelbrot fractal function takes the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2007 · 6,964 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractE-Government Readiness Assessment ModelAhmed Al-Omari, Hussein Al-OmariThis study presents a general framework model for E-Government Readiness Assessment. There are six necessary key factors to implement any E-government initiative worldwide. These factors represent the basic components to be assessed before launching the "e-initiative" to guarantee the right implementation in the right direction. The organization building blocks need to be assessed are: Organizational Readiness, Governance and leadership Readiness, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2006 · 8,309 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Backpropagation Neural Network for Computer Network SecurityKhalil ShihabIn this paper, an efficient and scalable technique for computer network security is presented. On one hand, the decryption scheme and the public key creation used in this work are based on a multi-layer neural network that is trained by backpropagation learning algorithm. On the other hand, the encryption scheme and the private key creation process are based on Boolean … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2006 · 19,543 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Type of Network Security Protocol Using Hybrid Encryption in Virtual Private NetworkingE. Ramaraj, S. KarthikeyanToday wireless communications is acting as a major role in networks. Through year-end 2006, the employee's ability to install unmanaged access points will result is more than 50% of enterprises exposing sensitive information through the wireless virtual private networks (VPN). It enables you to send the data between two computers across a shared or public network in a manner that … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2006 · 6,792 accessesView PDFCite
