Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDynamic Reconfiguration of IP Domain Middleware Stacks to Support Multicast Multimedia Distribution in a Heterogeneous EnvironmentKevin Curran, Gerard ParrSeamless connectivity to multiple wireless networks independently of a fixed point is becoming increasingly important for mobile devices however wireless networks differ in bandwidth, size and access costs each requiring protocol functions to enable devices to communicate efficiently. In addition, due to the divergence of users and applications, traditional stacks are frequently enriched with additional functionality such as transport protocol … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 6,786 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordHydroelectric Power Generation from Reservoirs in Savannah River BasinTravis Michael Yates, Abdul Aziz KhanHydropower is generated from three reservoirs in the United States Army Corps of Engineers's Savannah District. These reservoirs include J. Strom Thurmond, Richard B. Russell, and Hartwell. Currently, a contract in place specifies that a certain amount of energy must be provided to the region. Analysis of 25 years of operational data has shown that a 90% reliable yield is … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 17, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2024 · 5,097 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordField Programmable Gate Array -Based System-on-Chip for Real-Time Power Process ControlAhmed Karim Ben Salem, Slim Ben Othman, Slim Ben SaoudProblem Statement: Nowadays Real-Time (RT) embedded control applications require not just higher performance but more flexibility as well without increasing cost and resources. Approach: In this study we presented a promising co-design and implementation of control solution. We developed flexible solution using software control algorithms coupled with an embedded RT kernel on powerful embedded processor cores, combined with reconfigurable logic … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2010 · 7,459 accessesView PDF Cite
