Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRemote Surgeon Hand Motion and Occlusion Removal in Mixed Reality in Breast Surgical Telepresence: Rural and Remote CareKrishna Shakya, Suman Khanal, Abeer Alsadoon et al.Mixed reality in surgical telepresence has not been practically implemented as yet and research done, until now, is only theoretical. Aiming to implement a proposed new solution by merging virtual and augmented realities and bringing about improvements by removing occlusion and the noise caused by hand motions during surgery. The proposed system consists of an extended Camshift algorithm for the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 11 · 11 Jan 2019 · 8,566 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractConcealed Weapon Detection using Wavelet, Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform and Curvelet TransformAyush Dogra, Bhawna Goyal, Sunil Agrawal et al.In the field of military and law enforcement, detection and visualization of concealed weapons is a common practice. The infrared and visible cameras providing the information i.e., the characteristic visual features of the image and the thermal radiations are able to provide the complementary information like information about concealed objects or weapons. In this manuscript, we have proposed the integration … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 10 · 26 Oct 2018 · 7,256 accessesView PDFCite
