Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Comparative Performance Analysis of Multiple-Input Multiple-Output using MATLAB with Zero Forcing and Minimum Mean Square Error EqualizersBara'u Gafai Najashi, Tan XiaohengProblem statement: Multiple-Input Multiple-Output systems (MIMO) were regarded as one of the most promising technologies in field of wireless communication. Generally considered as one of the several forms of smart antenna technology, it offers considerable increase in data throughput and link range without additional bandwidth or transmit power. The general idea involves the use of several antennas at the transmitter … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 29 Nov 2011 · 8,298 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhanced Clustering Techniques for Hyper Network Planning using Minimum Spanning Trees and Ant-Colony AlgorithmLamiaa Fattouh IbrahimProblem statement: The process of network planning is divided into two sub steps. The first step is determining the location of the Multi Service Access Node (MSAN). The second step is the construction of subscriber network lines from MSAN to subscribers to satisfy optimization criteria and design constraints. Due to the complexity of this process artificial intelligence and clustering techniques … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 9 Mar 2011 · 6,813 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Simulative Study on the Performance Evaluation for Simultaneous and Successive Mobility for Mobile IPv6Ibrahim Abdullah, Mohamed OthmanProblem statement: Mobile Internet Protocol (MIP) is the forms of the backbone for next generation wireless internet technology to provide uninterrupted network service while a node on the move. The original MIP use Home Agent to forward the traffic. Thus, it does not have problem with simultaneous mobility, i.e., the special case when both end nodes are mobile and move … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 12 · 30 Nov 2010 · 6,781 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing System Based on Mobile Velocity and SubcarrierZulkeflee Bin Khalidin, Haitham J. TahaProblem statement: Nowadays, the mobile telecommunications industry faces the problem of providing the technology that be able to support a wide variety of services ranging from voice communication with a bit rate of a few kbps to wireless multimedia in which bit rate up to 2 Mbps. Approach: This study introduced a new performance study to enhance the Orthogonal Frequency … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 28 May 2010 · 7,037 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBoarding School Students Monitoring Systems (E-ID) Using Radio Frequency IdentificationHerdawatie Bt Abdul Kadir, Mohd Helmy Abd. Wahab, Siti Nurul Aqmariah Bt Mohd KanafiahProblem statement: Monitoring Boarding school student movement using the old-fashioned study system is inefficient and brings difficulty to the hostel management to check attendance manually. By using RFID technology, student movement is quick and easy. Approach: The application of RFID Matrix Card system as a boarding school students monitoring system (E-ID) were purposed to improve school management system and to … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2009 · 9,118 accessesView PDFCite
