Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractInverse Kinematics at the Anthropomorphic Robots, by a Trigonometric MethodRelly Victoria V. Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Bilal Akash et al.A robot is a machine especially programmable one through a computer capable of performing a complex series of actions in the automatic mode. Robots may be guided by a control device or external control may be incorporated in the inside. Robots can be built to take human form, but most robots are machines designed to perform a task without taking … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 27 Apr 2017 · 8,817 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSmart Orthopaedic Implants: Applications in Total Knee ArthroplastyMatthew K. Dion, John Drazan, Khaled Abdoun et al.Total knee arthroplasty is a common orthopaedic procedure conducted in the United States with approximately 700,000 surgeries performed annually. A common complication following total knee arthroplasty is anterior knee pain which affects tens to hundreds of thousands of people each year. The exact mechanism that leads to anterior knee pain remains unknown, but improper component selection may cause pathologic loading … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 4 · 23 Dec 2016 · 9,069 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecondary User Sensing Time Optimization in Sensing-Transmission Scheduling for Dynamic Spectrum Access in Cognitive RadioInderdeep Kaur Aulakh, Renu VigThe constraint of limited frequency spectrum for wireless communication is very daunting. The radio spectrum licensed to permanent users is wasted at times when not used continuously. Cognitive radio technology involves a change in regulation of radio spectrum. In cognitive radio networks a secondary user network is designed for efficiently using gaps in spectrum and not causing at the same … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 5 Nov 2015 · 7,343 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Modulation Technique for 5G Mobile Communication SystemArun Kumar, Manisha GuptaBy the year 2020, the data traffic can be approximately increase by 30%, which cannot support by existing mobile technologies. Hence, there is a requirement of next generation wireless communication (5G) which aim to provide a high capacity, data-rate at the speed of 1Tbps. By selecting a better modulation technology, the required capacity and data-rate can be achieved. In this … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 9 · 28 Sep 2015 · 7,652 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFUNCTIONAL SIMULATION PLATFORM FOR STUDYING UNDERWATER RADIATION PATTERNKanwarpreet Gilhotra, Nitaigour Premchand MahalikFor underwater communication, sound signals are used in contrast to RF. Recent development in wireless sensor network for underwater applications such as ocean exploration, marine aquaculture, sea animal tracking and so on have motivated the researchers and developers to understand the properties of sound signal within water in details. This study presents work on design and development of a simulation … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 12 Sep 2014 · 7,850 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENCY LOW DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODE DECODER FOR LOW POWER APPLICATIONSM. Revathy, R. SaravananIn this study, we propose a low power, high efficient Low Density Parity-Check Code (LDPC) Decoder Architecture for error detection and correction applications. LDPC codes have been adopted in latest wireless standards such as satellite and mobile communications since they possess superior error-detecting and correcting capabilities. As technology scales, memory devices become larger and more powerful and low power consumption … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 30 Jan 2014 · 6,882 accessesView PDFCite
