Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Spectrum Sensing and Allocation Model for Primary User Detection and Interference Mitigation in Television WhitespacesJoachim Notcker, Emmanuel Adetiba et al.Television White Space (TVWS) emerges as an encouraging solution to address the challenge of a restricted wireless communication spectrum. It denotes the frequency range spanning from 54-790 MHz and researchers have increasingly explored its propagation characteristics in recent years. Nonetheless, a notable hindrance to its effective utilization lies in the interference between primary and secondary users, as well as interference … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 3 · 29 Jan 2024 · 5,234 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDevelopment of an Android Recognition Open-Loop Tracking Control of Writing Robotic ArmShahriar Rahman Fahim, Sanjay Dey, Md. Rashiduzzaman et al.Writing is one of the medium of the manifestations of the expression which is staged by going through many evolutionary phases for the time being. And most importantly robots and technology are dramatically meliorated in the 21st century. So, robotic writing hand was introduced with the collaboration with human brain and technology. The whole methodology is staged for the development … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 30 Aug 2019 · 6,406 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractWNBLI - A Multifarious Liability Examination for Wireless Sensor NetworksTamilarasi B., UmaRani R.Wireless communications has completely revolutionized the living environment, just as personal computers forever altered the way of working in the 1980’s and the Internet dramatically changed the obtainment and accessing way of information in the 1990’s. Wireless sensor networks are evolving to a new level. The Failure liability is a very prominent problem in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) research. Failure … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 6 · 8 May 2018 · 7,578 accessesView PDFCite
Literature ReviewOpen accessIn the abstractState of the Art on Video Streaming and ApplicationsYahia Hasan, Ali ZanbouriThe real-time and live video streaming are playing an important role in our daily lives; therefore enhancing the quality of real-time and live video streaming over wired and wireless packet erasure networks which becomes more and more important topic nowadays. The main objective of this tutorial paper is to highlight state of the art on video streaming and the most … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 4 · 21 Apr 2018 · 7,959 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractInter Cluster Group Management in Wireless Sensor NetworksR. Rohini, Adamu Murtala Zungeru, S. Ravi, Dasari Narasimha RaoWireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), an emerging large-scale network system can be embedded for any application. The designers of wireless sensor network have to consider the quality of service agreements from a user perspective. The WSN is very rapid in dynamic changing topology and has less energy, computing and communication resources. The network design has to fulfill the QoS parameters like … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 4 · 19 Apr 2018 · 7,997 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnergy-Efficient Ant Colony-Based k-Hop Clustering and Transmission Range Assignment Protocol for Connectivity Construction in Dense Wireless Sensor NetworksGokou Hervé Fabrice Diédié, Boko Aka, Michel BabriConnectivity construction is the main phase of a communication-oriented topology control process. It consists of improving the current network physical topology while preserving important properties such as connectivity and symmetry. In this paper, we address the problem of combining two of the techniques commonly used for this purpose in networks composed of a large number of energy constrained wireless sensor-nodes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 19 Mar 2018 · 7,796 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEmpirical Investigation of TCP Incast Congestion in Wireless Cloud Computing NetworksHamid Sadeq Mahdi Alsultani, Qusay Kanaan, Inteasar Yaseen KhudhairThe promising services offered by cloud computing environments have led to huge amount of data that need to be processed and stored. Wireless cloud networks rely on Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) for reliable transfer of data traffic between the cloud end-users and servers and vise-versa. Even though TCP has been successful for several applications, it, however, does not perform … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 5 · 3 Mar 2018 · 7,526 accessesView PDFCite
