Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA Real-Time Optimization Approach to the Efficiency of a Photovoltaic System by a Hybrid Tracking Technique using LabVIEWMohamed Redha Rezoug, Rachid ChenniAmong the lines of research on improving the efficiency of a photovoltaic panel, sun tracking techniques occupy a large part. In this article, an extension of Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW); LabVIEW Interface For Arduino (LIFA) is used. It allows the driving of an Arduino board from LabVIEW, on which a collaboration technique between two categories of pursuit is … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 5 · 15 May 2018 · 7,958 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleReal-Time Multimodal Biometric User Authentication for Web Application Access in Wireless LANSanjay Kumar, Surjit Paul, Dilip Kumar ShawWeb applications store trustworthy information and can be accessed online through wired or wireless network. Authentication is one of the major challenges to access these web applications. With varying level of sensitive data stored in web application, the concept of level of authentication can be introduced using biometric traits. This paper proposes biometric-based multi-modal authentication system with four levels of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 26 Sep 2017 · 7,471 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTrends in the Prevalence of Clostridioides difficile Using Real Time PCR in South Korea (2020-2024)Yonghee Lee, Yoo Na Chung, Jae Kyung KimClostridioides difficile is a major cause of infection in healthcare settings, and frequent antibiotic use exacerbates its occurrence. C. difficile infection (CDI) is a major public-health challenge owing to its complications and high mortality rate. We aimed to analyze current trends in C. difficile prevalence. This study was a retrospective, single center analysis of 7,371 samples from April 2020 to … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 3 Oct 2025 · 2,363 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReal Time Anomaly Detection in Massive Data Streams with ELK StackJakup Fondaj, Zirije HasaniReal time anomaly detection is very popular topic nowadays this because the number of data generated every day is larger and larger. Facing with the phenomena of Big Data is not an easy task. The main aim of this research is to fine appropriate architecture for real-time big data analytic and its main task is to detect anomalies in this … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 6 · 17 Jun 2019 · 7,799 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleTask Scheduling in Real Time Systems with Energy Harvesting and Energy MinimizationArvind Kumar, Bashir AlamEnergy is a major concern in battery operated real time devices (e.g. sensor nodes situated in remote areas) as battery life is solely responsible for the functioning of such devices. For such systems to work continuously and successively a regular source of energy is required. The lifetime of such systems can be increased by reducing the energy consumption and increasing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 15 Aug 2018 · 8,294 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEnhanced Preemptive Global Utility Accrual Real Time Scheduling Algorithms in Multicore EnvironmentIdawaty Ahmad, Mohamed Othman, Zuriati Ahmad ZulkarnainThis paper proposed an efficient real time scheduling algorithm using global scheduling paradigm running in multicore environment known as Global Preemptive Utility Accrual Scheduling (GPUAS) algorithm. The existing TUF/UA multiprocessor scheduling algorithms known as Greedy-Global Utility Accrual (G-GUA) and Non Greedy-Global Utility Accrual (NG-GUA) algorithms is seen to overlook the efficiency on its task scheduling algorithm. These algorithms have adapted … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 12 · 11 Feb 2016 · 6,395 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA REFINEMENT OF DIJKSTRA'S ALGORITHM FOR EXTRACTION OF SHORTEST PATHS IN GENERALIZED REAL TIME-MULTIGRAPHSSiddhartha Sankar Biswas, Bashir Alam, M. N. DojaThe networks of the present day communication systems, be it a public road transportation system or a MANET or an Adhoc Network, frequently face a lot of uncertainties in particular regarding traffic jam, flood or water logging or PWD maintenance work (in case of public road network), attack or damage from internal or external agents, sudden failure of one or … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 14 Dec 2013 · 7,266 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformances of Partition Utility Accrual Real Time Scheduling AlgorithmIdawaty Ahmad, Shamala Subramaniam, Mohamed Othman, Zuriati ZulkarnainProblem statement: This study proposed a TUF/UA real time scheduling algorithm known as Partition Preemptive Utility Accrual Scheduling (PUAS) also known as PPUAS algorithm. This algorithm addressed the overloaded problem that was identified in a uniprocessor scheduling environment and the necessity to design the scheduling algorithm in a multiprocessor environment. Approach: The PUAS algorithm was enhanced into the partitioned multiprocessor … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 12 Jul 2012 · 7,010 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Backward Recovery Mechanism in Preemptive Utility Accrual Real Time Scheduling AlgorithmIdawaty Ahmad, Muhammad Fauzan OthmanProblem statement: This study proposed a robust algorithm named as Backward Recovery Preemptive Utility Accrual Scheduling (BRPUAS) algorithm that implements the Backward Recovery (BR) mechanism as a fault recovery solution under the existing utility accrual scheduling environment. The problem identified in the TUF/UA scheduling domain is that the existing algorithms only considers the Abortion Recovery (AR) as their fault recovery … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2010 · 6,833 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEnhanced Utility Accrual Scheduling Algorithms for Adaptive Real Time SystemIdawaty Ahmad, Muhammad Fauzan OthmanProblem statement: This study proposed two utility accrual real time scheduling algorithms named as Preemptive Utility Accrual Scheduling (PUAS) and Non-preemptive Utility Accrual Scheduling (NUAS) algorithms.
