Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComparative Performance Analysis of Mobile IPv6 Protocols: Special Reference to Simultaneous BindingsShariq Haseeb, Ahmad F. IsmailMobile IP is the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) proposal to cater for All-Internet Protocol (All-IP) mobility. It forms the backbone for next generation Wireless Internet Technology to provide uninterrupted network service while on the move. Our paper conducts a performance study of the various Mobile Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) protocols such as Simple Mobile IPv6, Hierarchical Mobile IPv6, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 7,865 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBlind Decryption and Privacy ProtectionMohammed Al-Fayoumi, Sttar AboudBlind decryption is an efficient way of protecting customer’s privacy in online marketing over the Internet (i.e. Hiding information about which goods a user purchases from the vendor). In this study, the RSA based blind decryption is simply transposed from an identical protocol as the Chaum’s blind signature scheme and the blind decryption protocol for the Elgamal encryption scheme is … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2005 · 7,020 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIPv6 Transition Mechanism on UKMNet Network EnvironmentMohd Azi Bin Abdullah, Nor Effendy OthmanThe production of IPv4 has ceased its supply and this has created a global phenomenon that is faced by Internet providers and users around the world. This means that IPv6 implementation phase has begun and IPv4 duties will be taken over by the IPv6 protocol. Technically, IPv4 and IPv6 cannot communicate directly due to the difference of architecture. IPv6 transition … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 11 · 3 Jan 2017 · 7,049 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOn the Need of Source Address for Route-Error Delivery in 6LoWPANShafique Ahmad ChaudhryLow-power Wireless Personal Area Networks (LoWPANs) comprise devices that conform to the IEEE standard 802.15.4. These networks need to be connected with other wireless and wired networks in order to maximize the utilization of information and other resources which are mainly associated with the Internet Protocol (IP)-based networks. The transmission of IPv6 over Low Power Wireless Personal Area Networks (6LoWPANs), … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 15 Nov 2015 · 6,286 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the abstractCorporate Network Analysis with IPTV Traffic InsertionFilipe Hiluy Lima, Henrique Mariano Costa do Amaral, Denílson Moreira SantosThis paper presents studies about Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) technology starting with its motivation that led to its birth and its great and current application. The article theoretical basis will present the description of mechanisms, standards and main protocols used to ensure a quality of service needed to the deployment of IPTV applications. Among them, we will mention Multiprotocol Label … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 29 Jul 2015 · 6,802 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign of Arm Based Real Time Personnel Monitoring System Using Wi-Fi TechnologyRekha George, Varghese PaulNowadays we constantly come across the need to transfer remote data to monitor center which will be far away from the place of data acquisition. Traditional data acquisition system using wires cannot satisfy these requirements due to its heavy cost and impracticability. Embedded devices with network communication which makes it more powerful and easier to monitor and control remote data, … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 24 Jul 2013 · 6,483 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPredicting Packet Transmission Data over IP Networks Using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference SystemsSamira Chabaa, Abdelouhab ZeroualProblem statement: The statistical modeling for predicting network traffic has now become a major tool used for network and is of significant interest in many domains: Adaptive application, congestion and admission control, wireless, network management and network anomalies. To comprehend the properties of IP-network traffic and system conditions, many kinds of reports based on measured network traffic data have been … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2009 · 7,533 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Packet Marketing Method in DDoS Attack DetectionChanghyun Beak, Junaid Ahsenali Chaudhry, Keonsoo Lee et al.Functionality and availability are one of the main characteristics of internet and hence very inviting for attackers to try to provoke a denial-of-service attack. As the intensity and frequency of DDoS attacks has increased, various preventive mechanisms have also been proposed. One of the most effective defence mechanisms proposed was Path Identification (Pi). This method tracks the packet transmission path. … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2007 · 7,076 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAdafruit IO Based Smart Irrigation System using MQTT Protocol for Urban FarmingDevesh Mishra, Prakhar Yadav, Vandana Yadav et al.Freshwater is needed for irrigation and nutrient supply to plants to make up for the lack of rainfall. Agricultural activities consume more than 70% of the available freshwater. This emphasizes the importance of responsible management of water for irrigation using smart Internet of Things (IoT) based agricultural practices combined with irrigation-related technologies The purpose of this research article is to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 5 · 23 May 2022 · 6,894 accessesView PDFCite
