Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Efficient Algorithm for Capacitated Multifacility Location ProblemsChansiri Singhtaun, Peerayuth CharnsethikulIn this paper, a squared-Euclidean distance multifacility location problem with inseparable demands under balanced transportation constraints is analyzed. Using calculus to project the problem onto the space of allocation variables, the problem becomes minimizing concave quadratic integer programming problem. The algorithm based on extreme point ranking method combining with logical techniques is developed. The numerical experiments are randomly generated to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 6,443 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractStudy and Realization of the Basic Methods of the Calibration in Stereopsis For Augmented RealityFezani Mustapha, Batouche Chaouki, Benhocine AbdelhamidAugmented reality (RA) is aimed at ameliorating our perception of the real world by addition of elements which are not a priori observable by the human eye. RA is define as a system able of combining real and virtual pictures, in 3D and real-time. The virtual objects must be cast in a consistent manner in real pictures. In practice, objects … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 5 · 31 May 2007 · 6,748 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFace Recognition using Eigenfaces and Neural NetworksMohamed Rizon, Muhammad Firdaus Hashim, Puteh Saad et al.In this study, we develop a computational model to identify the face of an unknown person’s by applying eigenfaces. The eigenfaces has been applied to extract the basic face of the human face images. The eigenfaces is then projecting onto human faces to identify unique features vectors. This significant features vector can be used to identify an unknown face by … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2006 · 6,943 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Comparative Study of RSA Based Digital Signature AlgorithmsRamzi A. Haraty, A. N. El-Kassar, Bilal ShibaroA digital signature is a mechanism designed to allow secure communication through an insecure medium and can be traced in many applications where privacy is required. A digital signature is an electronic signature that can be used to authenticate the identity of the sender of a message or the signer of a document and possibly to ensure that the original … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2006 · 7,438 accessesView PDF Cite
