Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordTopology Discovering and Power saving Mechanism for Routing in a Tree of Ad-hoc Wireless NetworksArwa ZabianPower management in mobile network is an open challenges where the power level in the network influences the network life time. However, there are a trade off between the power consumption and the connectivity in mobile networks. We present a topology control mechanism and a routing protocol for Ad-Hoc wireless networks that chooses the shortest path given the lower power … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 6,550 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordSecondary User Sensing Time Optimization in Sensing-Transmission Scheduling for Dynamic Spectrum Access in Cognitive RadioInderdeep Kaur Aulakh, Renu VigThe constraint of limited frequency spectrum for wireless communication is very daunting. The radio spectrum licensed to permanent users is wasted at times when not used continuously. Cognitive radio technology involves a change in regulation of radio spectrum. In cognitive radio networks a secondary user network is designed for efficiently using gaps in spectrum and not causing at the same … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 5 Nov 2015 · 7,343 accessesView PDF Cite
