Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEFFECTIVE HEURISTIC ALGORITHM FOR DYNAMIC ROUTING AND BANDWIDTH MANAGEMENT UNDER QUALITY OF SERVICE CONSTRAINTS IN MULTISTAGE INTERCONNECTION NETWORKSR. Deepalakshmi, S. RajaramToday, Internet of Things (IoT) has introduced abundant bandwidth consumption and necessities in multimedia communications from online games to video-conferencing applications with the constraint of QoS requirements from time to time. The expected rapid proliferation of services would require performance unprecedented in the currently available best-effort routing algorithms. In, particular, the present routing mechanisms are based on the best-effort paradigm … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 7 Jan 2014 · 7,138 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordArtificial Bee Colony Algorithm Integrated with Fuzzy C-mean Operator for Data ClusteringM. Krishnamoorthi, A. M. NatarajanClustering task aims at the unsupervised classification of patterns in different groups. To enhance the quality of results, the emerging swarm-based algorithms now-a-days become an alternative to the conventional clustering methods. In this study, an optimization method based on the swarm intelligence algorithm is proposed for the purpose of clustering. The significance of the proposed algorithm is that it uses … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 4 · 6 May 2013 · 6,299 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordQuality of Service Aware Reverse Pathad-Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector ProtocolK. G. Santhiya, N. ArumugamMobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is aninfra structureless network that does not require any built-in infra structure and central control. Due to very fast mobility of nodes, there will be drastic changes in the network topology. So an adaptive routing protocol is needed for effective and reliable routing in MANET. Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol is the efficient and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 20 Sep 2012 · 7,061 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEcological Monitoring of Danube water Quality in Budapest RegionHosam E.A.F. Bayoumi Hamuda, Istvan PatkoProblem statement: Serious health problems and other economic costs related to water treatment, remediation and locating a new water supply, become an evidence of water pollution caused by human activities. The main problems of the Danube River basin are associated with nutrients, organic pollution and hazardous pollutants. The aim of the study is to assess the surface water of the … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 3 · 5 Apr 2012 · 9,032 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordMultipath Adaptive Packet Dispersion for Voice ApplicationsJ. Faritha Banu, V. RamachandranProblem statement: The quality of Voice over IP applications is decided by the main factors like network capacity and technologies such as codec type, Packet Loss Concealment (PLC) and Forward Error Correction (FEC). Approach: In MPLS networks multiple Label Switched Paths (LSP) are established between MPLS ingress and egress nodes to enhance the network performance and QoS for subscribers.
