Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCargo Route Optimization Using Shortest Path Algorithms: Runtime and Validity ComparisonDedy Rahman Wijaya, Aqil Athallah, Tiara Nuha Noor’afina et al.The Indonesian logistics industry is facing significant challenges related to inefficiency and irregularity, particularly in the commodity cargo route system. This issue is further exacerbated by the high logistics costs in the country, which currently stands at 23%, higher than that of other countries. To address this issue, this study proposes an implementation and examination of several algorithms Greedy, Best … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 11 · 19 Oct 2023 · 6,355 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractForecasting of Multistep Multivariate Financial Data Through GSO Algorithm Infused Vanilla LSTM ModelNikhitha Pai, Ilango Velchamy, Nithya B RameshPredicting time series in the financial domain requires using models that can do sequence processing tasks. One such model is the LSTM model which belongs to the family of deep learning networks. The performance measure of LSTM in a regression task is to bring down the error in the predicted values. In this study, a novel fused LSTM model integrating … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 7 · 10 Jul 2023 · 6,077 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Crow Search Optimization Based Feature Selection With Optimal DNN for Big Data ClassificationC. Mahesh, J. Ruby Elizabeth, S. Gnana Selvan et al.Big data analytics has become popular due to its applicability in various real-time applications. To attain better performance, big data can be analyzed using the machine learning and deep learning models at recent times, various domains have started to deal with big dataset which involves numerous sets of features. Repetitive and unwanted features, which reduces the classification performance can be … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2026 · 1,257 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractData Clustering using Two-Stage Eagle Strategy Based on Slime Mould AlgorithmRachid Oucheikh, Achraf Touil, Mouhsene FriDataclustering is considered an important component of data mining which aims tosplit a given dataset into disjoint groups having the same similarities. Thedeveloped techniques for clustering have some challenges to cluster entities incomplex search space and most of them aim to maximize the sum of inter-clusterdistances and minimize the sum of intra-cluster distances. This objectivefunction is nonlinear and hard to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 11 · 7 Nov 2022 · 5,795 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBio-inspired Search Approach Cross-Domain Location Mapping for Smart Mobile Service SystemIsrael Edem Agbehadji, Abdultaofeek Abayomi, Murimo B. Mutanga et al.The health care service sector is very critical in every country. Although governments have made significant efforts to improve health infrastructure and train more qualified health professionals, the majority of them cannot find jobs within public health facilities. Furthermore, patients queue at health care facilities for hours daily for basic health care services while job creation and reducing these long … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 4 · 26 Apr 2022 · 6,161 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractData Clustering-based Metaheuristic for Physical Internet Supply Chain NetworkAbdelsamad Chouar, Samir Tetouani, Aziz Soulhi, Jamila ElalamiIn this study, a data clustering-driven technique is proposed for a Physical Internet Supply Chain Network (PI-SCN) to reduce data complexity, process time compression, and lankness of process optimization. Given a set of data points, a clustering algorithm aims to classify each data-points into a specific group. Each group should have similar properties and/or features, while data points in different … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 4 · 21 Apr 2022 · 6,476 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImproved Meta-Heuristic for Multi-Objective Integrated Procurement, Production and Distribution Problem of Supply Chain Network Under Fuzziness UncertaintiesKaoutar Douaioui, Mouhsene Fri, Charif Mabrouki, El Alami SemmaIn this study, we devoted a design under uncertainty of a supply chain network composed of multiple suppliers, multiple plants, multiple distributors and multiple customers. The proposed model is a bi- objective mixed integer linear programming which consider several constraints and optimize the total costs including the procurement, production, storage and distribution costs as well as maximize on-time deliveries. Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLayout Optimization in a Fitness Industry: An Application of QAP Formulation and Heuristic Approachesİbrahim Miraç Eligüzel, Eren Özceylan, Yakup AtasagunThe Quadratic Assignment Problem (QAP) is the problem of determining a one-to-one and onto assignment between two sets, each consisting of n objects (e.g., n facilities and n locations) so as to minimize the sum of the distance × flow associated with pairs of assignments. In this study, QAP formulation is applied to a fitness center to assign the sports … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 4 · 3 May 2021 · 6,686 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFolk Music Recommendation Using NSGA-II Optimization AlgorithmJoyanta Sarkar, Anil Rai, Kayala Kiran Kumar et al.Music recommendation systems can significantly improve the listening and search experiences of a music library or music application. There is simply too much music on the market for a user to navigate tens of millions of songs effectively. Because of the high demand for excellent music recommendations, the field of Music Recommendation Systems (MRS) is rapidly expanding. The main motivation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 12 · 8 Nov 2023 · 5,640 accessesView PDFCite
