Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNETWORK MOBILITY SUPPORTED PROXY MOBILE IPV6Ananthi Jebaseeli SamuelRaj, Sundararajan Jayapal, Vijayaraghavan VaradharajanProxy Mobile IPV6 (PMIPV6) is a network-based mobility management protocol, designed to keep track of individual mobile node's movement. So a mobile node can easily roam in PMIPV6 network without changing it's IP address. Network Mobility-Basic Support Protocol (NEMO-BSP), based on MIPV6, is the protocol designed for mobility management of NEMO in MPIV6 network. But NEMO-BSP cannot be directly used … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 26 Apr 2014 · 6,632 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractGROUP MANAGEMENT IN MOBILE ADHOC NETWORKSK. Senthil Kumar, S. Sasi Kumar, C. SugapriyaIn this study, we proposed an algorithm for Cluster Based Zone Allocation method (CBZA) for energy conservation and packet dropping in mobile ad hoc network. MANET is a self-organized, temporarily dynamic network and their nodes are mobile without using any infrastructure. However, secure communication occurs between group nodes based on cluster method. In multicast routing, group information is shared by … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 7 · 22 Apr 2014 · 6,321 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN ENHANCED ROUTE FAILURE RECOVERY MODEL FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSP. R. Jasmine Jeni, A. Vimala Julie, A. Messiah BoseIn Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), change in topology of the network occurs due to the mobility factor of the nodes leading to the extension in size of the network. The extension of network size happens due to the entry of nodes into the network. As the topology changes, link failure between the nodes takes place due to several reasons … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 8 Apr 2014 · 6,730 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractREDUCING TRANSMITTED POWER OF MOVING RELAY NODE IN LONG-TERM EVOLUTION-ADVANCED CELLULAR NETWORKSJaafar A. Aldhaibani, A. Yahya, R. B. Ahmad et al.Wireless multi-hop relay networks have become very significant technologies in mobile communications. These networks ensure data rate transfer and coverage extension with a low cost. In this study two types of relay are studied; Fixed Relay Node (FRN) and Moving Relay Node (MRN). Where system analyses for uplink and downlink transmission are derived in this study. Moreover the optimal relay … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 3 Feb 2014 · 6,737 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENCY LOW DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODE DECODER FOR LOW POWER APPLICATIONSM. Revathy, R. SaravananIn this study, we propose a low power, high efficient Low Density Parity-Check Code (LDPC) Decoder Architecture for error detection and correction applications. LDPC codes have been adopted in latest wireless standards such as satellite and mobile communications since they possess superior error-detecting and correcting capabilities. As technology scales, memory devices become larger and more powerful and low power consumption … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 30 Jan 2014 · 6,882 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA MOBILE AGENT BASED INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSBinod Kumar Pattanayak, Mamata RathApplications of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) have become extensively popular over the years among the researchers. However, the dynamic nature of MANETs imposes a set of challenges to its efficient implementation in practice. One of such challenges represents intrusion detection and prevention procedures that are intended to provide secured performance of ad hoc applications. In this study, we introduce … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 6 · 28 Jan 2014 · 7,267 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCLUSTER BASED CACHE CONSISTENCY USING AGENT TECHNIQUE IN MOBILE ENVIRONMENTShanmugarathinam Ganesarathinam, Vivekanandan KanniappanCaching is an essential mechanism in mobile environment. Mobile node makes access dynamic changing data object to their server and to get the interested data to keep their own as local copies in the cache. If the server database is updated, the data cached in mobile client is invalidated and it becomes inconsistent between client and server. In this study … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 19 Dec 2013 · 6,487 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMESSAGE AUTHENTICATION CODE BASED SECURE GROUP KEY MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL FOR MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKST. Peer Meera Labbai, V. RajamaniA mobile ad hoc network is a group of nodes which are communicating with each other with the use of radio frequencies. When there is high movement of mobile nodes, the nodes find difficult to reach other nodes. If the data are exchanged between nodes when there is high mobility, the data may be lost in transit. Therefore the security … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,727 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN EFFICIENT AUTONOMOUS KEY MANAGEMENT WITH REDUCED COMMUNICATION/COMPUTATION COSTS IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKM. Devi, S. Chenthur PandianA primary concern in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) is security. Secret sharing is an effective way to distribute a secret among n parties, where each party holds one piece of the secret. A number of key management schemes have been proposed for MANETs. However the secret sharing to control key hierarchy needs larger message transmission costs in many techniques. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 5 Sep 2013 · 6,778 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractINTELLISENSE CLUSTER MANAGEMENT AND ENERGY EFFICIENT ROUTING IN MOBILE AD HOC NETWORKSSangeetha Kuppusamy, Natarajan MathaiyanMobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of distributed nodes which communicate using multi-hop wireless links with frequent node mobility. The aim for ad hoc networks is to accommodate light-weight weight, battery supercharged transportable devices. Due to the restricted power, we've to vogue economical ways in which to use the current power. For a networking device, vital power is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 9 · 6 Aug 2013 · 6,367 accessesView PDFCite
