Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMETADATA DRIVEN EFFICIENT KEY GENERATION AND DISTRIBUTION IN CLOUD SECURITYR. Anitha, Saswati MukherjeeWith rapid development of cloud computing to a greater extent IT industries outsource their sensitive data at cloud data storage location. To keep the stored data confidential against untrusted cloud service providers, a natural way is to store only encrypted data in the cloud severs and providing an efficient access control mechanism using a competent cipher key-Cmxn, which is becoming … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 12 May 2014 · 6,629 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEFFICIENT RANKED AND SECURE FILE RETRIEVAL IN CLOUD COMPUTINGJ. Jospin Jeya, E. KannanCloud computing facilitates extremely scalable services that can be consumed over internet. An important aspect of the cloud services is that user data are stored remotely in unknown machines in which users do not posses or manage. Since the data’s are stored remotely, we have to keep in mind that sensitive cloud data have to be encrypted before they are … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 3 Apr 2014 · 6,856 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA LOAD BALANCING MODEL USING FIREFLY ALGORITHM IN CLOUD COMPUTINGA. Paulin Florence, V. ShanthiCloud computing is a model that points at streamlining the on-demand provisioning of software, hardware and data as services and providing end-users with flexible and scalable services accessible through the Internet. The main objective of the proposed approach is to maximize the resource utilization and provide a good balanced load among all the resources in cloud servers. Initially, a load … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 15 Feb 2014 · 8,770 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDISTRIBUTIVE POWER MIGRATION AND MANAGEMENT ALGORITHM FOR CLOUD ENVIRONMENTP. Prakash, G. Kousalya, Shriram K. Vasudevan, Kawshik K. RangarajuIn cloud computing, the resources are provided as service over the internet on demand basis. The resources such as servers, networks, storage, applications are dynamically scaled and virtualized. The demand grows gradually for each virtual machine in a cloud computing environment over time. So, it is necessary to manage the resources under each cluster to match the demand in order … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 29 Nov 2013 · 6,510 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTRUSTED CLOUD COMPUTING FRAMEWORK FOR HEALTHCARE SECTORMervat Adib Bamiah, Sarfraz Nawaz Brohi, Suriayati Chuprat, Jamalul-lail Ab MananCloud computing is rapidly evolving due to its efficient characteristics such as cost-effectiveness, availability and elasticity. Healthcare organizations and consumers lose control when they outsource their sensitive data and computing resources to a third party Cloud Service Provider (CSP), which may raise security and privacy concerns related to data loss and misuse appealing threats. Lack of consumers’ knowledge about their … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 2 · 13 Nov 2013 · 7,695 accessesView PDFCite
