Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Policy-Based Admission Control Scheme for Voice over IP NetworksSami Alwakeel, Agung PrasetijoProblem statement: In Voice Over IP (VOIP) network, when more calls are admitted to the network, more voice packet traffic is created. Since bandwidth is always limited, this may result network congestion and/or may affect voice quality. Thus, we needed a mechanism for improving the Quality of Service (QoS) by controlling VOIP calls admission. Approach: Given a specified bandwidth and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2009 · 6,609 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordGeometrical Approach to a New Hybrid Grid-Based Gravitational Clustering AlgorithmFaisal Bin Al Abid, A.N.M. Rezaul Karim, Golam Rahman ChowdhuryIn the past years, several clustering algorithms have been developed, for example, K-means, K-medoid. Most of these algorithms have the common problem of selecting the appropriate number of clusters and these algorithms are sensitive to noisy data and would cause less accurate clustering of the data set. Therefore, this paper introduces a new Hybrid Grid-based Gravitational Clustering Algorithm (HGGCA) geometrically, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 3 · 9 Mar 2021 · 6,783 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordUSE OF SALINE WATER FOR GREENHOUSE BELL PEPPER (CAPSICUM ANNUUM) PRODUCTIONV. C. Patil, K. A. Al-Gaadi, M. A. Wahb-Allah et al.A greenhouse experiment was conducted to study the response of bell pepper to quality of irrigation water and irrigation regimes. The main treatments included non-saline water (EC-0.5 dS m-1) and saline water (EC-3.5 dS m-1). The sub-treatments included three irrigation regimes (at 100, 80 and 60% of crop Evapotranspiration (ETc)) in combination with three crop growth stages (vegetative, flowering to … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 1 Feb 2014 · 8,605 accessesView PDFCite
