Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleComparative Performance Analysis of Mobile IPv6 Protocols: Special Reference to Simultaneous BindingsShariq Haseeb, Ahmad F. IsmailMobile IP is the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) proposal to cater for All-Internet Protocol (All-IP) mobility. It forms the backbone for next generation Wireless Internet Technology to provide uninterrupted network service while on the move. Our paper conducts a performance study of the various Mobile Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) protocols such as Simple Mobile IPv6, Hierarchical Mobile IPv6, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 7,865 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENCY LOW DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODE DECODER FOR LOW POWER APPLICATIONSM. Revathy, R. SaravananIn this study, we propose a low power, high efficient Low Density Parity-Check Code (LDPC) Decoder Architecture for error detection and correction applications. LDPC codes have been adopted in latest wireless standards such as satellite and mobile communications since they possess superior error-detecting and correcting capabilities. As technology scales, memory devices become larger and more powerful and low power consumption … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 30 Jan 2014 · 6,882 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF GRAY LEVEL CO-OCCURRENCE MATRIX TEXTURE FEATURES FOR GLAUCOMA DIAGNOSISSakthivel Karthikeyan, N. RengarajanGlaucoma is a multifactorial optic neuropathy disease characterized by elevated Intra Ocular Pressure (IOP). As the visual loss caused by the disease is irreversible, early detection is essential. Fundus images are used as input and it is preprocessed using histogram equalization. First order features from histogram and second order features from Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) are extracted from the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 24 Dec 2013 · 7,326 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleImpulse Radio Ultra Wide Band Based Mobile Adhoc Network Routing Performance AnalysisM. Sreedhar, C. VenkateshThis study presents with the routing overhead analysis of impulse radio - Ultra Wide Band based wireless networks which Employs Dynamic Nature Routing (EDNR) method for determining and selecting the stable route in Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET). This method requires only two sample packets and uses piggyback information on Route-Request (RREQ) and Route-Reply (RREP) packets during a route-discovery procedure. Conventional … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 15 Apr 2013 · 5,887 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePerformance Analysis for the Ontology based Intelligent Information Retrieval using Non Monotonic Inference Logic using SPARQLDr. Rajni Jindal, Alka SinghalThe paper proposes a model for the information retrieval system (E-library) for the learner, based on his current requirements and scenario. It follows a brokerage model using non monotonic logic utilizing semantics and ontology for object description. Ontology captures the learning object properties which can help in eliminating and evaluating the usefulness of the object for a given learner. Non … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 2 Nov 2017 · 6,615 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleEnhanced Channel Estimation and Performance Analysis Using H-Infinity Filter for MIMO-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing SystemsJoseph Gladwin Sekar, Salivahanan SankarappanThis paper, deals with H-infinity channel estimation technique for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems, in fading channel. Channel estimation is important for wireless applications because, in practical transmission scenario, channel correlation functions are either not known or cannot be easily estimated. It is therefore desirable to have an estimator which is robust to mismatches between the assumed and the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 29 Jan 2015 · 6,823 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF ANTI-COLLISION ENABLED ROBOT USING HYBRID BEACON SCHEDULING APPROACHP. Prabakaran, M. SaravananIn multi-robot environment, when many robots are moving in the same workspace, there is a possibility of their physical collision with themselves as well as with physical objects. In this study, hybrid beacon scheduling protocol is proposed and for avoiding such collisions in robotic mobile environment with low latency and power consumption. The purpose of deploying this protocol is to … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 6 Mar 2014 · 6,449 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENT AND LOW POWER ARCHITECTURE FOR FUZZY BASED IMAGE FUSIONS. Anbumozhi, P. S. ManoharanImage fusion based on wavelet transform is the most commonly used image fusion method, which fuses the source images’ information in wavelet domain according to some fusion rules. But because of the uncertainties of the source images’ contributions to the fused image, how to design a good fusion rule to integrate as much information as possible into the fused image … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 21 Feb 2014 · 6,753 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titlePERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF BRAIN TUMOR DIAGNOSIS BASED ON SOFT COMPUTING TECHNIQUESP. Shantha Kumar, P. Ganesh KumarComputed tomography images are widely used in the diagnosis of brain tumor because of its faster processing, avoiding malfunctions and suitability with physician and radiologist. This study proposes a new approach to automated detection of brain tumor.
