Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDesign and Development of an Automatic Penetration Test Generation Methodology for Security of Web ApplicationsShilpa R. G., Pushphavathi T. P., Murthy P. V. R.In today's world, web application security is becoming more crucial. Web applications frequently hold sensitive data, which might be compromised if it were to fall into the hands of a hostile attacker. This leads to significant losses for businesses and customers alike and exposes the qualities of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. A penetration test is an attempt to exploit vulnerabilities … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 10 · 30 Jul 2024 · 5,738 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMonitoring the Rate of Change at Urualla Gully Erosion Site Using GIS and Remote Sensing MethodologySylvanus IroUrualla gully erosion was monitored using GIS and remote sensing in Urualla, Ideato North Imo State Nigeria. The objective is to calculate the rate of change of Urualla gully erosion and identify measures to control its growth. The study's data came from primary and secondary sources, such as Google Earth imageries, DEMs, and in situ measurements. Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA New Methodology for Neural Network Training Ensures Error Reduction in Time Series ForecastingPaola A. Sánchez-Sánchez, José Rafael García-GonzálezArtificial Neural Networks (ANN) consists of some components, such as architecture and learning algorithm. These components have a significant effect on the performance of the ANN, but finding good parameters is a difficult task to achieve. An important requirement for this task is to ensure the reduction of error when inputs and/or hidden neurons are added. In practice, it is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 7 · 4 Jul 2017 · 7,171 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOptimization of Key Technology for Instant Sea Cucumber Processing through Fuzzy Evaluation and Response Surface MethodologyJianfeng Sun, Tianshu Yang, Qian Liu, Zhaoping SunThe original flavor of instant sea cucumber products can be retained and these products consequently show good market potential. In this study, the key processing technique for instant sea cucumber was optimized on the basis of single factor through Box-Behnken response surface test method by using collagen and polysaccharide contents and fuzzy mathematics sensory score as response values. Results showed … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 13, Issue 2 · 23 Jun 2017 · 8,199 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Methodology for the Selection of Micro-Assembly TechniquesDario Antonelli, Gualtiero Fantoni, Marcello Porta, Marco SantochiProblem statement: The study addressed the problem of selecting the appropriate microassembly techniques according to the micro-part features. Actually, in the micro-domain, the choice of the correct assembly technique is highly dependent on the micro-part characteristics such as shape, geometry and material. Approach: Since there was an incomplete and unstructured knowledge about the micro-assembly, the study proposed a Decision Support … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 4 · 5 Nov 2010 · 8,176 accessesView PDFCite

GuptaProblem statement: Event-based systems have importance in many application domains ranging from real time monitoring systems in production, logistics, medical devices and networking to complex event processing in finance and security. The increasing popularity of Event-based systems has opened new challenging issues for them. One such issue is to carry out requirements analysis of event-based systems and build conceptual models. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 11 · 23 Oct 2010 · 7,626 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Solution Methodology of Bi-Level Linear Programming Based on Genetic AlgorithmM. S. Osman, W.F. Abd El-Wahed, Mervat M.K. El Shafei, Hanaa B. Abd El WahabProblem statement: We deal with the bi-level linear programming problem. A bi-level programming problem is formulated for a problem in which two Decision-Makers (DMs) make decisions successively. Approach: In this research we studied and designs a Genetic Algorithm (GA) of Bi-Level Linear Programming Problems (BLPP) by constructing the fitness function of the upper-level programming problems based on the definition of … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 7,184 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleMethodology of Compliant Mechanisms and its Current Developments in Applications: A ReviewSolehuddin Shuib, M.I.Z. Ridzwan, A. Halim KadarmanTraditional rigid-body mechanisms consist of a number of components to implement their functions. Therefore they face problems such as backlash, wear, increase in part-count, weight, assembly cost and time, regular maintenance. Reducing these problems will help in increasing mechanism performance and cost reduction. Recently, there are several examples of compliant mechanisms that have been designed and widely used in various … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2007 · 7,676 accessesView PDFCite
