RangarajuIn cloud computing, the resources are provided as service over the internet on demand basis. The resources such as servers, networks, storage, applications are dynamically scaled and virtualized. The demand grows gradually for each virtual machine in a cloud computing environment over time. So, it is necessary to manage the resources under each cluster to match the demand in order … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 29 Nov 2013 · 6,505 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordLocation-Aware Energy-Efficient Workload Allocation in Geo Distributed Cloud EnvironmentSoha Rawas, Ahmed ZekriThe proliferation of cloud computing relied on the virtualization of the compute and storage resources and provisioning them dynamically according to users’ needs on a pay-per-use model. Massive cloud providers have geo-distributed cloud data centers to ensure service reliability, availability and satisfy user’s need. Therefore, cloud management systems are necessary to increase the profit of cloud providers and to improve … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 13 Mar 2018 · 8,034 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEffects of ced-9 dsRNA on Caenorhabditis elegans and Meloidogyne incognitaRobert T. Gaeta, Abdellatif Bahaji, Glenda W. Polack, Alejandro Calderón-UrreaAbstract: Problem Statement: In metazoans Programmed Cell Death (PCD) is essential for proper development. Suppression of PCD is needed to guarantee cell survival and in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans the regulation of PCD is accomplished by the function of the ced-9 gene. Approach: In this work the use of double stranded RNA (dsRNA) to knock-down ced-9 gene function was tested … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 1 · 15 Dec 2010 · 9,452 accessesView PDF Cite
